Yeah, they haven't actually produced any of these things yet, it's just a concept and not even to the point of prototype.  

An OLED sleeve that you would wear on your arm seems much more plausible, even if it would look dorkier

Not sure how well it would hold up with a porous offensive line.

Id rather see the focus on a hoverboard or lightsaber. But its kinda cool.

Shaved arms just weird. But the concept is cool.

a projection from the bracelet and yet no shadow cast by the finger... ? Also the projection moves on the forearms subtley and the water didn't cause any distortion on the skin.

I used to think the wristband was like a PDA and the coaching staff was sending plays to the quarterback. Didn't realize what it really was till high school. Sad part is that sort of technology had not been invented save the old clunky Palm devices.

I could see something working in that capability fairly easily however not in that complexity.

They've had IR keyboard for years and I have to believe technology similar to the below which has existed for almost 10 years now has been developed.

Obvious issues are miniturizing the electronics into something that small and battery.  If it was only projecting from a smartphone similar to gadget gear etc, it's that much more plausible as a stand alone device would be that much harder to fit things inside a wrist strap.  Clearly it's a prototype idea video and while I believe this is entirely plausible, you'd be more likely carrying around a wrist weight with current technology and have an awful barely responsive interface which would display awfully because our wrists/forearm are not flat surfaces.

There is NO way anyone can do anything like that for a long time.  It would take a MASSIVE amount of light to make something like that visible in sunlight.  Massive amounts of light generate massive amounts of heat.  Where is the heat going to go?  You'd burn your wrist off. 

 

As somone upthread said, the OLED sleeve is WAY more likely, as thin bendable screens are happening right now.  So it's plausable that you could wear a thin bendable screen on your arm sometime in the near future.  But just projecting light onto your arm?  Forget it.  That won't happen until someone figures out how to create massive amounts of light without generating heat.   And I suspect there would be far greater applications of that kind of breakthrough.
