I have been watching, although not too closely the media circus surrounding the impending NBA free agent bonanza. However, I have not heard the Pistons as candidates for even some of the less heralded choices, such as Carlos Boozer, Amare Stoudemire, or Paul Pierce. Has there been any hints as to what they might try to do during the offseason? What is their cap space? I thought their strategy all along was to position themselves to pick up at least somebody in this free agent class? They are getting to be almost as unwatchable as the Lions.
