OT: Pat Narduzzi is still a Douche Nugget Deluxe

Submitted by Toby Flenderson on

After whining to the referees all night long, Pat Narduzzi gave VT WRs a lot of praise.....

"They did a great job pushing off all night. Give them credit for that."

you can take a coach away from little brother, but you cannot take the little brother away from the coach.

wrong actually.

My fav was Narduzzi being incredulous at a spot late in the game that gave VT a first down and sealed the game.  Narduzzi was going ballistic, being an ass.  The spot was dead perfect from the refs.

Pitt's DBs were putting on a PI clinic last night. He's lucky they weren't flagged twenty times ( guess this is a valid strategy, try to shame the refs into not throwing that many flags)

Top it all off with temper tantrums that would make Brian Kelly look calm and you've got yourself a douche-soufflé

Dude describes his defense as "60 minutes of unnecessary roughness," then complains about opposing WRs pushing off. Yep, douche.

It must be a Staee thing.  Izzo makes a name for himself by having his players run a rebouding drill in shoulder pads to fight for rebounds.  But is still shocked, SHOCKED (!) that the fouls aren't even at the end of the game or they get a single over the back call against them.

It's almost like teams have figured out quarters and if you don't have great talent you can't stop everyone. He's a good coach, but we have seen the slow degradation of that system the past couple of years.

Look at those grabs (open jersey) vs UMs grabs (hips) (see the BYU recap for Delano hill and . . . Just search J Lewis and you'll see it). It's totally cheating from a rules standpoint -- but we teach it better. MSU did this for years. Refs caught on to it and started calling it. But we can continue because our teachers are the best at not getting caught -- they did it in the NFL! And I don't begrudge them one bit.

when I saw him basically run out and around the ref closest to him to dramatically cheer that penalty.  He seemed to be coming to a boil previous to that play, and he must have hit that perfect 212 degrees.  One of his own coaches came out onto the field after him to try and keep him from getting a penalty.  You could feel the Disrespekt though the tv screen!

If the refs won't call pass interference/holding for constantly doing what his defenders do, why would he expect pushoff calls against opposing receivers?
