Sadly however,  the joy fan's everywhere initially experienced when Ward's removal from football broadcasts was short-lived as announcement of her new career path was made public.

nothing screams out "it's week 3 and there is exactly one good game all weekend, but it's noon right now and goddammit, i'm going to watch college football all day, so let's get drunk and pretend we care about western michigan at purdue" like hearing pam ward's voice. now how will i know when i've reached the dredges of college football fandom?

So how long before the feminist groups come out en masse, declaring that ESPN is a sexist, male-dominated company, who cares nothing for offering equal opportunity to women?

First, Craig James removes himself.  Then, ESPN removes Pam Ward.  I hope this "2012 is the end" stuff is the load of horse-pucky I think it is, because college football just got a lot better.

In the course of a few months, ESPN's football coverage will now be minus Craig James and Pam Ward. By default, the quality just went up.

Of course, Pam, to paraphrase one of her own calls, probably should have "taken the sack" a long time ago.

I know religion talk is a no-no around here, but THANK YOU GOD.  My prayers have been asnwered.  She made the 2008 and 2009 season even more insufferable if that is even possible.

I have a hard time listening to football out of any womans mouth.  This is a  step in the right direction.  She was the Queen of Turd Burger,.

Watch she's probably gonna sue claiming sexism, that she got discriminated against because she's a woman.  And she'll get a huge settlement out of it because that's just how lame our society is.

Has gotten so many posts. Pam, you were loved. (If by love, I meant "detested").

Though I'm just posting because of the cool formatting issues this thread has...
