OT: PAC10 Scheduling

While this is college football which is a gray area, I'll consider this one off topic as it is pure fantasizing. Interesting note in a Seattle Times article on Washington State about their announcement of dropping the Hawaii game from their 2011 schedule. They said there are "uncertain changes in the Pac-10 scheduling." So while this is almost definitely the Pac-10 trying to fill out the rest of their conference schedule, the first wild idea that struck into my head was if they were looking to drop the round robin scheduling. It's been a point of criticism that the round robin makes the Pac-10 look weaker because, despite playing a guaranteed extra game against a BCS team, the Pac-10's a weak overall conference. That's not necessarily my opinion, but it's one that's thrown out there occasionally. The second wild idea that jumped into my head was expansion. I think this is less likely, as I'm not entirely sure why the Pac-10 would take on any more teams, but it'd be pretty awesome, in my e-pinion, if they took on Utah and BYU. It'd also be a slap in the face of Boise State, which I also endorse. The Broncos just remind me too much of Hawaii's "chippy-ness." Makes them easy for me to hate, I guess. So yeah, off topic.
