shall be interesting.
All this Buckeye talk has really been getting under my skin?
Hail.
These pretzels are making me thirsty?
I would rather the Big 10 not look like garbage in the bowl game personally. If the Buckeyes are going to get punished for something, players getting tattoos is not something that makes me think, "yeah, crucify those fuckers!"
For today, goodbye. For tomorrow, good luck. And forever, Go Blue.

Twitterverse saying that Herron, Pryor, Posey, Thomas, and Adams to miss first five games in 2011.
"I call that Communist football. I'm so tired of it. Good, red-blooded Americans snap the ball, hand it to the guy and have a normal run game or pass game."
—Steve Szabo, Michigan linebackers coach, November 2007
Is it the photograph, or does Pryor have an unusually small head? I thought it would be larger with the ego he has to carry around.
everybody small-heads.

WBNS radio in CBus just reported Pryor, Herron, and Posey to be suspended for forst 5 games of next season. That's a loss to Miami (YTM), and Little borther at least.
Yes Virginia, there is a Santa Claus...
"True loyalty is that quality of service that grows under adversity and expands in defeat." - Fielding Yost, or as I see it try living in Columbus for 19 years after graduating from UofM.
Let me save you the trouble of watching the video.
Jim Tressel - "We asked all parties involved and everyone has pinky swore that there were no major violations. One player did receive $5 in benefits which he has repaid. We will be reporting to the NCAA in 'minor violation 2010 #78'"
OSU AD - "Whatever Jim says"
Suspended forever... Just a hunch
But seriously, I see nothing coming from this. If OSU was having a down year than yes they would be punished hard, but since they are a golden boy for the NCAA it'll be nothing more than a slap on the wrist...
David Cone is my homeboy...
I am sure someone has mentioned this in one of the multiple OSU Tat-gate threads, but what was the result of the Wisconsin Shoe-gate? It would seem like that would be a precedent.
He wanted everyone to know this
"Look up, get up, and don't ever give up"
Guarantee they admit they did wrong, and have already paid the tattoo joint for the tattoo's. How did they get the money? Well that is protected by Ferpa....
This is only interesting if they parade everyone out there to show off the tats. Unfortunately, the odds of that are zero.
For everyone that wants to get offended about OMG TO$U, this really isn't a big deal. Even the very public incident where Tennessee players were getting freebies at a bar--discovered when they beat up a cop, resulted in only the guys who beat up the cop getting suspended.
if your waiting for the NCAA to do the right thing...OSU and Jim Tressel have been
breaking NCAA rules since the get go.....
I don't think they were just signing cocktail napkins. Reports are that they were signing OSU garb, which belonged to the University. All of their gear is supplied by the University, and needs to be returned when they are done, including shoes, gloves, jersey's, all of it. To sign a pair of cleats, and trade them away is theft, and from what I have heard, they have recovered some of these items, with players signatures and numbers on them. We'll see what the NCAA chooses to do. Didn't Alabama get clipped pretty hard for 'Bookgate?
What things do they really have to give back. What about all the free workout clothes/sweatsuits they get? Gloves smell after 1 use they really have to give those and their cleats back? They also have to give the jersey's with their names on it back? I am not trying to be condescending I am really interested, doesnt anyone including you Boknowsall, have any first hand info on what can be kept/has to be returned. I had friends that played at the D2 level and they were sponsored by Adidas and they got to keep everything.
David Cone is my homeboy...
They may allow you to keep them, but while you are in school you can not sell them. AJ Green got a 4 game suspension for selling a bowl jersey for $1000.00. Not allowed. It is still the property of the University.
Where I played the budget for those things wasn't high so there wasn't much for us to keep at the end of the day...So I found this very interesting. Thanks for the info.
David Cone is my homeboy...
besides, nothing touches this skin more than once but velour

Jim Tressel...." We have conducted an internal investigation in the matter of the tats and have found that Cam Newtons father did purposely sell his son to the highest bidder.......ah......ah....I rest my case".
Endeavor to persevere...
Yes I know hi-jinx (high jinks) is not a word, but it looks good.
I just don't see this as anything to get fired up about. I mean tattoos for autographs? Really? "Pitchforks for all my friends!"
$1300 worth of sporting goods? getting into movies for free for four years? free booze?
because all of them have tangible value. this isn't just cars or bust.
Not sure if you know this, but some tattoos, especially the bigger ones that most football players seem to get can cost quite a bit of cash...
Specially if they are giving away the Universities clothing etc.. with autographs
A Michigan Man would never do something so unseemly!! I bet every coach in America has a special meeting to remind their team that the free meals and drinks they get at whatever place they get them is against the rules and not to do it--just like Tressel probably reviewed his countable practice hours last Fall. Any team could get caught doing something very similar.
Gonna go on and on for 2 hours about the history of tattoos and how they have developed over the years. Explain that this is a minor blip on the radar of OSU football, and everything, rest assured, is corrected. After that, he will invite the media for coffee and donuts and free candy canes.
because if we're gonna do some LOLOSULOL i'd at least like to not have an epic title error
also

for 2 games. Not Tressel just his vest.
We do the Hoke-y Pokey cause he'll turn this team around. That's what it's all about.
Just breaking from Twitter:
Well now we know how Pryor paid for his tattoos
why am i not seeing any of those tweets when i look at elevenwarriors twitter? am i missing something?
Herron, Pryor, Posey, Thomas, Adams to miss 1st 5 games in 2011
From the twitter guy.
Unless we're talking about different Pryor's...
ESPN just confirmed (lol credibility) that Pryor is one of the five.

I would have to think this greatly increases the chances that some of those five players turn pro rather than play a season where they have to sit for five games.
All rational Michigan fans should be applauding the implosion of the rest of the conference because [MIDDLE FINGERS IN ALL DIRECTIONS.] - EDSBS

I wonder if leaving early for the NFL is on pryors mind now?
Plz thanks
i really hope half the team gets suspended and they get waxed by Mallett in the bowl game; however, i have this weird feeling they're gonna get off with just a slap on the wrist. it would be just like the ncaa to try and minimize the damages so they can make as much money off this BCS game as possible. still trying to figure out which organization is more corrupt: ncaa or fifa?
