I served on a jury for a [c] case. The girl was very young. It was five days of hell - sickening - one of the hardest things I've ever had to endure. All I could say at the end (after we convicted the adoptive father) is God bless the judges, attorneys, social workers and law enforcement officers who have to deal with this on a daily basis.

I've decided, as a Giants fan, that I'm going to try and put this on the level of his crack offenses in my mind, assuming a) he didn't hit her and b) he really thought she was 18+. Which is to say, I'll think less of him, but ideally more as a "there he goes again" issue than a "jesus this guy is sick, I feel bad that I loved him" issue.

This is what I took away from that article. LT was a ferrocious linebacker that revolutionized his position. He also had sex with a girl who was either an old 15 or a young sixteen, it depends on whether you're a glass half full or half empty kind of guy. In life LT has been a fantastic fuck up which in no way outweights his acheivements on the football field which include 10 Pro Bowls, NFL MVP, Defensive MVP, and 132 sacks. Also the sack total should have 9.5 sacks added to it which should end up evening itself out in lite of recent events.

I grew up 10 minutes from Giants stadium. Had LT's poster on my wall. He was my 2nd favorite Giant as a kid after Bavaro. When he kept getting busted for coke it always made me shake my head but I still liked the guy. I want to hear the whole story before I cast my judgement on this but it stll blows regardless.

My wife watches those reality shows like Intervention. Monday there was a show on A&E called Fame and Recovery with LT and Tara Conner. It caught my eye briefly because she was hot and was talking about doing BAD things, then they went to LT talking about how much he hated himself because he was letting his kids and family down.
How ironic that he does this shit this week. Maybe he made her watch it just so she would know who the old guy was?
