Thoughts on Bronco Mendenhall as a dark-horse candidate for the Michigan job? Unlikely that he leaves, but a relatively appealing guy, in my opinion (young, consistent success, etc).

Just remembered how bad Taysom Hill torched Texas and that they have to play Michigan next year.

Second time a Utah State receiver just got behind the DBs.

You realize OP is saying "Yeah that Utah State" like it means something? He thinks we played Utah State. Someone else even said, "Who the hell is the other USU?" The reference to "YTUSU" has nothing to do with BYU.

Try to follow along or shut your pie hole. You and your dimwitted friend each owe me an up vote.

into the shop.

It was a whimsical use of the (YTx) convention in the midst of the Worst Week in Michigan Athletics History®, no more.

I even upvoted the "who the hell is the other USU post". I try to avoid explaining jokes so I didn't respond, "Yep, that's the point."

The whimsical use? It's always whimsical. There is no need for the OP to use it in referring to Utah State unless he thinks there is some special reason for us to remember Utah State.

His whole reason for posting is that he thinks we played Utah State. Who the hell cares we play BYU next frickin year? Jesus you people are slow.

No, my whole reason for posting was that in the middle of The Worst Week in Michigan Football History, I noticed that #18 BYU was losing to significant underdog Utah State 28-14 in the middle of the 3rd quarter.  Hey, something else to talk about, imagine that!

"Jesus you people are slow?"  Time to stop digging.

15 Undefeated Major College Football Teams Before Games of October 4:

Alabama, Arizona, Auburn, Baylor, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Marshall, Mississippi, Mississippi State, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, TCU, Texas A & M, UCLA

Auburn (hosting LSU), Nebraska (at Michigan State) and Notre Dame (hosting Stanford) all have difficult challenges to remain unbeaten by the end of today; and because Alabama plays at Mississippi, Mississippi State hosts Texas A & M, and Oklahoma travels to TCU, there will be at least three fewer undefeated major college football teams by Sunday morning.

All of those Way Too Early Bowl Projections* should become very interesting this coming week.

*  Among the sites I noticed that made those projections this week, only two projected Michigan to be invited to a bowl game: Sporting News had Michigan playing North Carolina in the Quick Lane Bowl in Detroit on December 26 and Phil Steele had Michigan playing Texas-San Antonio in the Heart of Dallas Bowl on December 26. The Big Ten Network, CBS's Jerrry Palm, ESPN.s McMurphy, Rttenberg and Schlabach, NFL.com, SB Nation's Jason Kirk and USA Today left Michigan at home for the holidays.
