OT: Online Betting

Submitted by A2MIKE on
So I went to Canada for the tournament last weekend and did fairly well. I hate that you have to parlay everything, therefore I was curious if any of you have any experience with online betting. I used to play poker online, but haven't in a few years. Is it still easy to get your money in and out? I seem to remember some laws being passed making it difficult to get your money loaded on to the site. Do you have any recommendations for sites to use, other than the sites linked to Mgoblog?

Easy to get the money in, a little more difficult to get it out. You have to give them either hard copy of a file proving id and something else to prove residence, but once you have done it, it is done and just fine. I like it just fine; i'm not a mega-user or anything, just throw some small bets here and there for run, so I may not be the best source of advice. I do think the odds on some of the online sites can sometimes be a little skewed against you, so you've got to keep your eye out to make sure you're not betting a bad line.

Sportsbook. And it's easy putting my money in... not sure about taking it out. Lines are almost exactly in line with Sheridan's odds. Basically a Vegas sportsbook on the net. I bet on all 4 favorites tomorrow.

I have used this site many many times. There are many options to put money in your account and when you cash out they just send you a check. There are many options to bet as well. You can also play poker and some casino games with the same cash you bet with. Definitely worth checking out at least. Great betting site.

Be careful about taking bonus dollars. Some sites make you bet 5 or 10 times of the bonus amount before you can take any money out. The decision to take the bonus may not be reversible.
