Interesting to note since he does have three years of eligibility left. Apparently the competition deemed too stiff this spring;  hence the transfer.

IMO, Lunt should've remained a Cowboy. He was highly touted coming in by the recruiting services, being the seventh ranked PRO QB to Rivals.

Personally, I'd like to see Lunt head back to the Midwest and join Illinois, Wiscy, or even Staee to bring quality talent to the B1G...

He seems to be SEC bound, though?

Good luck wherever he may end up.

I've read that he wants to go closer to home (he's from Illinois), so maybe Iowa or Illinois or Indiana could be good fits.  Considering the offense they run at Indiana, I think he would be a good fit there.  The kid's got talent.  I haven't followed him closely enough to have an idea of what's going on between the ears, but based purely on physical skill, I wouldn't be opposed to seeing him come to Michigan and compete with Morris/Gardner/Speight.

Yes. He started five games in all, and set an Ok St freshman record for 436 passing yards in his first career road start against Arizona. He did pretty damn well as a true frosh, and started the season (IIRC) atop the QB depth chart.

He's done more than Gunner Kiel, Ok?

Am I the only one who has had it with all of the player X is transferring from team Y posts?

You know what I'm sick of?  Game of Thrones posts, because I've never seen that show.  But I've also never clicked on a Game of Thrones post, which is an easy solution.

Yeah, some people don't like the video game threads, or the drinking threads, or the softball threads or whatever.  But the title is pretty clear, so just avoid it.

Ugh, society disgusts me sometimes.  Pick one partner and stick with them.  Honestly, these swingers and... oh, wait.  You said "neg".  Okay... this is awkward.

Word is he transferred out because he was falling behind Chelf and Walsh on their depth chart in the spring. Walsh is the same  year (eligibility wise) as Lunt. So I can see why he wanted to leave, the writing seemed on the wall, unless someone got injured.
