Ohio and Oregon have scheduled a home & home in 2020-2021 per 11W. I know this is only slightly related to Michigan, just continues on the thought that Michigan should continue to schedule more matchups against non-directional-Dakota's.
OT: Ohio & Oregon Schedule 2020
Wow that's a ways out. If it was in say 2014 I'd say, damn that's an intriguing matchup - two spread gurus in a battle royale. As it is, I doubt either Kelly or Meyer will still be coaching at their current locations by 2020.
Not THAT far off. We just offered a RB this past weekend that will graduate in 2019 if he redshirts a year.
I'd hope the kid could complete his degree in his first 4 years.
Hopefully, when the games are finally played, both teams will still be trying to recover from two of the most severe NCAA punishments ever given.
I hardly think these two received some of the harshest sanctions ever. SMU? USC?
uh oh, someone doesn't get jokes that reference the future.
Am I the only one that is annoyed by the ambiguous use of "Ohio"? Yes? Ok I'll shut up.
Slightly but I still do it. Attempt to please the masses I guess.
It's surely an upgrade from O$U or other lame attempts people tend to use.
Do not question the ways of the Hoke.
No need to apologize.
Over/under 1 of any of the coaches/ADs still involved with either program by the time the game is played.
According to FBSSchedules.com, they have a home-and-home with Texas in 2022-2023 as well, and one with TCU in 2018-2019. As for the series with Oregon, in 2021, both Kelly and Meyer would be 57 years old, I believe, but I would definitely take the under on (1) right now on either of them actually coaching those games.
Kelly for sure won't be there, he prolly won't be there past another 3 years IMHO.
As for Urbs, I think he'll be gone too most likely, I bet Hoke will still be in AA coaching it up.
In other words, I like who we got and am thankful he's not a jump ship for the NFL, or anywhere else for that matter, kinda guy.
I really don't see why people think Kelly would be a good fit in the NFL. I don't think his style would work with the size and speed of the defenses
Aren't all Dakota schools directional?
Sandusky style. Did he say' a little head?
Lane Kiffin would still offer them a scholarship.
I'll take answer#1 for the win.
