One of my favorite days of the year.

A true sign that spring/summer are here. Also, weather next week is suppose to be nice.

and comment. Tis a rare event.
EDIT: I've seen a poster 'round these parts with a "Solsun" avatar (might have even been the handle too). That's awesome and deserves credit.

For someone to say that Oberon is "really not that good". And "really, BeerX is much better". Well, future hypothetical person, you could not be more wrong. Can't wait for this season's top-end savoriness.
EDIT: While I was typing this, future hypothetical person became past real person in the form of winterblue75. So, winterblue75, you could not be more wrong.

Here's an interesting note for Oberon fans...It used to have a much more narrow window of distribution. Now, it's available for months beyond the usual date. The summer beer is now available well into fall (although it's harder to sell as the months grow because folks assume you're trying to sell them old stock).
Further tidbit...it's already available in large quantity in grocery stores in AZ. Very cool to see Bell's with a special display instead of Miller or Bud.
While I'm personally not an Oberon drinker, it's great to see a Michigan product doing so well.

Oberon is available in D.C. at Bell's Liquor (no relation) on M St. between 18th and 19th NW.
also can be found sometimes at Adams Market at 7th and F NE, if Capitol Hill/H street corridor is more convenient

Easily the best day of the year here in Kalamazoo is Oberon Day. It beats CMU tailgate and pretty much everything, if you can make it out here I highly suggest it.

I don't like fruiting my beer in any capacity, but especially when it comes to Oberon (and american wheats in general). As far as I can remember, Larry doesn't care whether there's an orange in it.

Looking forward to it.
Bump, for the greatest day of the year is here.
