in Iowa City week 3 this fall. Should be a good measuring stick. Wouldn't be too surprised if they give the yellow and black a run for their money.

More like maize and black, now that we've toned down our color of corn.

The current head coach has only been in charge for the last two. Craig Bohl was the guy who started everything up and won the first three, he is now the HC at Wyoming.

It's North Dakota. I don't really see a world in which they really become a competitive D1 program. Maybe they make more money, but what's better for the school? Being dominant in FCS or maybe peaking as a 10-2 MAC team? I say stay down in FCS and enjoy it

Their worst season since 2010.

Incredible they've been able to win 5 straight titles in a playoff format, across two head coaches, and recruiting to North Dakota. Surely one of the greatest and most impressive dynasties in college football history

I worked at NDSU from 2005 to 2008. Back then they weren't even eligible for the playoff because they had just recently moved up from D2! They went 10-1 one year that I was there, but I had no idea they were about to rip off 5 straight national titles.
