OT: North Carolina Vs. Virginia Tech

In case you're like me and need something sports-ish in the event the online feed for Michigan hoops craps out (i.e., hedging my bets with Comcast).

Rooting so, so hard for the Heels.  If UNC wins then the UVA/Tech game next week will be for all the division marbles.  If you'd told me before the season that in November, UVA would be in better position to win its division than Michigan, I'd've slapped you for lying.

I think Clemson and VT are better than those three, and GT is better than UCLA. ACC was a joke when the Big East had good teams (circa 2006-2008). Now the roles are reversed, except nobody in the Big East has a football culture, so it's even sadder.

David Wilson has been the real deal.  He's a damn good running back.

UNC got screwed on that catch inside the 5 before half and then that fumble by David Wilson.  Also blew the call where the ball wasn't catchable.  Sucks that's a 14 point swing by whatevaz I guess.

Also, Craig James can't recognize a zone-read for shit.

I just moved to Blacksburg and am still adjusting to the VT culture. They sure do come out for their Thursday night games every year. I guess it makes it easier to find a Michigan bar on Saturday (if it exists).

No Michigan bars in Blacksburg, at least that I know of (VT student here).  Obviously a pretty small town but you can try to watch the games at Sharky's or some place.  Other than VT football, they pretty much don't watch football at all so you might be able to watch it at the bar but I don't know if they'll be any Michigan fans there.

Also, never try to talk football with Tech students.  They know absolutely nothing and think Logan Thomas is one of the best QBs in the nation.  It pisses me and my girlfriend off so much to constantly here them talk about how Tech is so great at football yet they get destroyed when they play better (IE non-ACC) teams like Stanford, Boise State, Alabama, LSU, or even Kansas (2007).
