OT-Nomar Garciaparra announcing
Does anybody else think Nomar is annoying as an announcer? I liked the guy when he played, but listening him announce the TCU/Texas baseball game is like nails on a chalkboard to me. Anyone else?
He does a decent job, at least by former player standards. I think he is pretty nervous (I don't believe he has been an announcer before this CWS stint), but he has some insights that are better than I would have expected.
Reading the thread title I clicked hoping to learn where Nomar was going...Pac __, Big Ten or the Cleveland Cavaliers...or even to quarterback the Vikings in the fall.
I clicked thinking that it was about an announcement he was going to make, like that he was pregnant with Mia Hamm's baby.
I thought he was really dry. Also thought he didn't play off his pbp guy very well either. It happens. I'm still a big fan of Ensberg doing college games. I heard his clothing and hair this weekend have been just as quirky as his color commentating.
