OT: No Drew Sharp on the radio

I'm not sure if this was covered, but I've been unable to post this for days.  Drew Sharp is no longer on AM 1130 in Detroit.  He was working afternoons with Matt Shepard, but they moved Shep to mornings and Sharp was given the boot.

This may be old news to everyone but I'm pretty sure this will unite everyone on the board to either (a) jump for joy or (b) negbomb me for posting way old information.

I emailed him yesterday after he wrote that "Michigan blew it with Jim Harbaugh."  I don't know why I feel compelled to respond to some of these idiots on the radio and in the paper, but it makes me feel better, momentarily.

I thought he was off the air cause RR stopped by his house on the way out of town and beat the shit out of him.  I figured he was in the hospital.

But this is good too.  Not AS good.....but good none-the-less.

Guy was always an idiot who wasn't even good on the radio.  Just hope he doesn't pop up on ESPN or whatever the crap Jim Rome's show is called so that he can fade away in the bolivia where he belongs.

I haven't seen him in a couple years, but he always seemed to stutter through his segments.  I don't know if it was nerves or a speech theme.  Could possibly explain his hatred towards anything with a maize and blue heartbeat.

the world wide leader for putting Sharp on whenever a state of Michigan issue comes up. Yeah that's who I want representing us all...Thanks for nothing ESPN.

And yes thank goodness he is off the radio. With the choice of Sharp or Valenti in the afternoon, it was like do you want the sharp stick in your right eye or your left...

I have gotten to the point where I am basically just listening to podcasts of the morning show from WTKA...
