OT: Nice special on Loyola HS in Detroit on ESPN2
I just turned on ESPN2, and there is a really nice documentary on about the Loyola High School football program in Detroit. It's focusing on the young men they are developing there. Nice change from the normal media representation of Detroit. I'm not from Detroit, so I don't know much about the school. They seem like great kids.

Thought about (but forgot) posting this when I found out a few days ago.
Loyola's a helluva school - great kids, great staff. I went to U of D High, so there was a connection between the schools (Jesuit schools), and I can say, the kids at Loyola are first class. Glad they're getting some pub.

Loyola had not been founded when I was at U of D but its founding and mission truly follows the Jesuits "Men for Others" mantra.

seriously. He's only 5'9 but he likes hitting, actually plays linebacker, and wants to play for Michigan. Sign him up.
