Maybe playing in the Insight Bowl wouldn't have been that tough. Missouri looks soft. I mean, they still would have score 50 on us, but we might have scored 60.

No doubt you are right about the waxing so far, but UConn is just an average Big East team (the highest kind in the Big East). An average Big East team versus an average ACC team proved to be not good for WVU. I think UConn beating Oklahoma is still a pipe dream.

Sean had a "Wally Pipp" reference in the Insight game. Any reference to that story is an automatic win. All kids should hear the story of the guy who recruited a backup, asked for a day off, and had his backup take his place.

Lou Gehrig, the backup, played the next 2,130 games at first base. Pipp was later injured in batting practice and never became much of anything.

Never ask for a day off. You never know when the next Lou Gehrig will take your place.
