Denard also there.
Slowly becoming a Pryor fan; he's winning me over with his style of play
GO TO YOUR ROOM... AND NO DINNER FOR YOU
that kind of behavior will not be tolerated around here, young man
2/5 for 15 yards is winning you over? He played against a sub par defense in Indy, and an overall bad team in Jax.
he has awesome tattoooooz!
Shut yore pretty little whore mouth.
YES YES YES
So im going for Pryor....I know I know ...
...can't do it...can't root for a team with a d-bag like Pryor.
Nice little drive results in a TD for the Lions.
Stafford is 10 for 13 for 148 yards right now. Not a bad start thus far, right down to five different Lions having factored into the receiving game.
Damn if Pryor doesn't just pour his heart out onto the field.
Same old lions
Reggie Bush just blew out his knee. Who didn't see that coming?
He brusied it. He's fine, and I wouldn't be surprised if he came back in.
I wouldn't call that blowing out his knee, but yeah he hurt it. It'll be interesting to see if Bush can stay away from major injuries all year. Seems unlikely. Fortunately Bell also has some talent.
And he just had a carry before the end of the half, so no.
I guess thats what you get when you aren't able to watch the game and trust text messages from a brother in law. Sorry for the Freep - esque report.
1) Super impressive
2) Is it legal?
Number 18 making some nice blocks from the WR position for the Lions
The Lions looking good
to Jags/Raiders game?
a minute left in the half and their QB is playing a superb game. What do they do? They sit on the ball.
He got me 63 points today in fantasy. Lol.
minimal mistakes and a balanced Lion's attack equals a pleasant, low blood pressure 1st half for me
Whoa.. Is Molly McGrath the hottest sideline reporter ever?
The goggles, they do nothing!
There can only be one highlander!
Pretty spry for an old guy.
I dont understand why the lions still throw to pettigrew
Fucking Willie Young.
Horrid refereeing going on in the Lions game. Two ridiculously bad calls by the refs.
I want him gone now. This teams discipline is the worst in the league
Not trying to start an argument or anything, but why? The lions have no discipline and always seem to find new ways to choke games away. I was hopeful that he'd bring about some positive changes, but it seems pretty clear that he hasn't
seems the Lions are being penalized for a bad reputation
Agreed. They always lose any 50/50 calls because of their rep. It's a bunch of crap.
God this game is just so Lions.
No way this is conclusive, but it will get overturned cause its the Lions.
Lions receivers not helping Stafford.
Brandon Pettigrew is seriously the worst receiving TE in the league, I have no idea why he's on the field on a 3rd and long.
Pettigrew is worthless.
Always fumbling or dropping passes.
So it's appears we're going to lose because we missed 3 fg's, who woulda thought those would come back and bite us.
Thank god the Lions kept Akers instead of Rugland. That personnel decision is already paying dividends.
tried out for a couple teams including the Packers who need help with kicker and didn't get the job. He's just not ready for primetime.
So Lions. So very, very, Lions.
if he turns around it is a pick instead of PI.
So ummm, Jacksonville is pretty terrible.
That offensive line is, um, offensive.
Worst officiating ever.
And game. What a disappointment, nobody could catch a pass in the 2nd half and defense couldn't get out of their own way. Such a lions way to lose.
This is the beginning of the end for Schwartz and Linehan. Terrible coaching decisons augmented by inept play equals a losing season.
That one playoff season really was a red herring. This team has been poorly coached for most of his tenure.
"Red herring" means what you think it means. My understanding is that it means a notable-foreshadowing omen type of thing, not an aberration or an anomaly.
A red herring is a false forshadowing, leading people down the wrong path. So, he's right to use it in that context.
Once Bush went out it seemed like everybody developed a serious case of stone hands. Twice in the 2nd half Pettigrew drops likely 1st down coversions on 3rd and longs, thus forcing a punt and a short field for the Cardinals. The Lions were behind down and distance the whole game because the defense couldn't get 3 and outs and the offense couldn't get a first down in the 2nd half.
Pettigrew is terrible. On the off chance he's actually able to catch a ball, it's basically 50/50 whether he'll fumble or not.
all have in common?
All three were passed up by the Lions in the first round of the 2009 draft in favor of Brandon Pettigrew.
the Vikings wanted Harvin gone plus he's always hurt. Oher is just an average starting RT who is no better than Reiff, Fox or Hillard. Clay Matthews is a better fit as a 3-4 OLB than at DE.
...characterizes most of the last 49 years.
Geeze, the whole NFL culture is so dumb sometimes. Honey Badger don't care. Honey Badger is getting paid now.
Schwartz is getting fired this season. Start the Brian Kelly rumors now.
Stick with Millen?
Bill O'Brien would love this Lions offense and his star will fall if he stays at PSU too long. Just sayin'.
Money at Saban, obrien, or Fitzgerald
God I hate how Golden Tate says Notre Dame in his player intro. Sounds like such a fucking tool. But would expect less from someone named Golden?
Seahawks game...holy hell listen to that place roar. That's what the Big House would sound like if everyone actually paticipated.
It's the acoustic design. Seattle and Autzen are designed to keep in the sound, Michigan is not, although I have noticed keeping in the sound has been better since the renovations.
Jim Tressel wins another Big Ten title.
