It is perhaps a small comfort that some of the predictive sites are slightly favoring the Lions, of course, although not by huge margins. All the same, over at Massey for example, gives the Lions a 23-20 predicted median score and a 58% predicted win probability. It's a small comfort, but the stats sites have been kind to the Lions in the run-up to tomorrow.

The Lions can start the season 8-0 and they will still end up disappointing. I got to hear the yearly, "This is the year. I know I say that every year, but this time I meant it," from my dad the other day.
