I weirdly still think Manziel can be a good pro (no I am not a Browns fan and personally I think the guy seems like a jackass). As you mentioned he needs to learn the playbook and be a pro. If the Browns can use him in somewhat the same way Seattle uses Wilson, he has a lot of potential to succeed.

Wilson, despite all his scrambling and scampering as the play breaks down, is actually a very smart, generally "conservative" player in that he won't usually make very risky plays that could result in turnovers. That seems like the ceiling for Manziel.

Looks kind of like a weak draft class, besides Green-Beckham. I think it's a steal if he slides to the Seahawks. As far as the Lions go, I hope they go after Forsset. He'd be a nice upgrade from Reggie Bush who can't stay healthy.

I think Winston will go #1. It will be interesting to see where Funchess lands. He has first round talent but lacks some heart in my opinion. Im not sure how much the Packers really need another WR/TE. They have Quarless who is pretty good to fill that TE need and with Nelson, Cobb and Adams, they are pretty set on the outside. I think the Pats might be a better fit for him.

I don't think they need DB as much as they did the past few years in Round 1. The secondary is actually decent, Quin and Slay in particular...if there's a great option though there, definitely take it.

What they really need is interior guys next to Warford, although an OT isn't  a bad idea. But I doubt the first round is the place to do that.

Who in their right mind would take Jameis Winston in the first round? Honestly, what in the hell do you think is going to happen if you draft him? In addition to the character and maturity issues, he can't make more than one or two reads on passing plays. Oh, but man he can run so fast and throw the ball so hard, OMG! It just amazes me how professional player management personnel can make the same mistakes year after year.

Based on some evaluations I have seen there is a very strong possibility that Thomas Rawls is the 2nd former Michigan player taken in this draft. If that happens then omgwtf.

Rawls didn't display anything during his time at U-M. He consistently ran full speed into the pre-determined hole, and that was it. He didn't display any real vision or ability to break outside, plus he went down pretty easily for his size.

What we saw out of Rawls at CMU was nothing like what he did here (competition probably has a lot to do about it).

I totally agree. I've been wondering about people who bring up Rawls as some indictment of Hoke. Have they forgotten that Rawls got his shot and saw playing time, but just did very little with it? I mean, Hoke recruited him and gave him playing time, what else do you want?

He transfered down a level and was able to beat up on MAC teams.

I'm not really sure what the Bucs should do. I'm not really sold on either QB. Mariota seems like a "system guy" who won't work in the NFL unless Philly mortgages its soul to go up and grab him. And Winston, well, he's Winston. He brings with him more baggage than the rest of FSU's team combined. The fact that they went undefeated two years in a row helps to mask the fact that he had a pretty bad year, stat-wise.

Honestly, if I'm Tampa, I'm hoping someone is enamored with one of these guys and wants to trade several first and second round picks over the next two years to go up and grab them. Tampa has so many holes in its roster, and a QB is not the last piece that will get them back to the postseason. They need a lot more. Get as many picks as you can and stock up on good talent across the roster. Then maybe take a guy like Brett Hundley in the second-third round and see if you can develop him. The guy has all the physical attributes and intangibles, and none of the baggage.

The quarterback who I believe will turn out to be the best out of this class is Brett Hundley.

I've liked what I've seen from him the past two seasons. I think a team like Arizona or Denver should take him in the second round.

I think he has good potential, but right now he has a ways to go. As much as dislike jameis, the guy has all the tools to be the best in the class, just has to keep his head straight and mature. Unless Mariota somehow winds up in Philly I think he will struggle severely. It is so hard to translate to the nfl from an offense such as Oregon / auburn / osu as a QB. The passing tree is more complex and based on timing, and elite communication with WR's, coupled with advanced knowledge of defensive coverages. At Oregon, Marcus generally reads one guy and makes a decision off that one guy. There is a reason there are only several elite QB's in the game. Quarterbacking is ridiculously hard. Processing mass information in Under 3 seconds, and having to do it under extreme duress from 300 pounders that are trying to crush your skull is so much harder than it looks.

I've studied QB's and offenses for 20 years and I can say without a doubt that Hundley, Mariota, and Winston all have what it takes as far as the physical attributes are concerned. The best QB in the 2015 draft will be the guy with the best mental attributes and poise in the pocket.

If somehow Chip Kelly finds a way to trade up for Marcus, as some are suggesting, look out!!

to draft an alleged raper, crab leg thief, inappropriate yelling, immature turnover prone quarterback at number two overall?  Wow, I don't understand how I'm not a GM yet.

I'm not completely in love with what Mariota either.  Yes, the system helped him but I do believe he has his own talent to play in the league.  However, I see him about as good as an Andy Dalton and nothing special coming out like an Andrew Luck.  Still, wholeheartedly agree Bucs need a qb bad and Mariota has to be the best decision.

They for sure wont be going runningback in first round.  They have way bigger needs at CB, WR, DT, and O-Line.  Wouldn't be surprised to see them take a runninback later to pair up with Hyde if Gore walks though.
