OT: NFL Game Day Thread/Lions thread

Submitted by bouje on

Okay guys early game LOLions against the Pack.  Pack will roll them.

Fantasy question since I get to start the thread (and it's Lions/Pack related)

WSIS?

CJ or Driver?

I remember when there was a thing on espn about how Monroe was so racist and all of this bs and Fordson came to Monroe and put a pipe bomb in a trashcan...

<br>Yeah congrats on going to fordson

Lions keep it close early, but GB should roll them.  Still, this has been a murderous opening stretch for the Lions, so hopefully as the schedule eases up a bit they'll get their feet under them.  6-10 is still in play.

Also, Driver, but CJ would be there with a better QB.

7-7 after Johnson's TD catch.

The play before, Scheffler got to the first down marker and then for some reason started running sideways and backwards and turned 1st and 10 into 2nd and 1. Being the 30-year Lions fan that I am, I expected Hill to get sacked or fumble or something. I didn't expect the TD pass.

do NFL refs have a tendency not to blow their whistles at the end of a lot of plays (or do the tv mics not pick it up)?  Like that play a few downs ago where the GB receiver looked like he was down but kept running, and the Lions kept tackling.  The ref was running up to spot the ball, but I didn't hear a whistle until very late.

Woodson's 10th INT for a TD, good for 3rd all-time, 1 behind Darren Sharper, and 2 behind Rod Woodson.

and give it back because a lineman lined up offsides.  I feel like I'm watching middle school football.

...And now they intercept it again, this time with no penalties.  Cool.

I have to admit the way they're moving the ball. But I can't believe the way they're shooting themselves on the foot with all the penalties.

Im so glad i dont invest any thought or time into the lions.  If I did like I do with Michigan I think I would have to give up sports and all forms of tv and the internet.

are better than last year and two years ago.  They are at least competitive.   They would've been done at halftime but they're hanging on until the 4th quarter which is more than you can say from the last few years as a Lions fan.
