OT: NFL FREE AGENCY
Robert Woods to LA
Stephon Gilmore to Pats
As a Pats fan I liked the Gilmore signing before the Butler for Cooks rumor started. I like the Gilmore deal less
I love lamp
It must be Italian.
Alan Branch resigned with the Pats.
No, he's still with them. In fact, he re-signed with them.
Punctuation: so important.
Wait...whaa? Oh ahhhhhh.
Harbaugh stole my hyphen.
DeSean Jackson to Bucs is also a pretty big move
I see why Cousins wants a long-term deal now. If he's stuck with that offense another season, the NFL will remember he's an average QB.
Can't believe they ponied up that much for someone that hasn't really played much over the last 2-3 seasons. So long Cutler!
Lions still after Logan Ryan?
got a feeling were about to make a big move at LB with cutting levy
The Browns just "bought" the Texan's second round pick next year. We can cut him, absorb a very minimal cap hit against our number, and we still have the pick. This is an "NBA-type" trade where one team takes another contract off the books. And he instantly becomes the best QB we have on the roster.
Read Adam Schefter's facebook post on it. He said it might be the most creative trade in NFL history and he's calling the Bowns brilliant.
We are absolutely killing it today.
EVER lolol
Guess that means Houston is trading for Romo.
Lol, only Cleveland.
no...he is free agent.
This is brilliant for both teams!
Houston realized that they paid huge $ swamp land in AZ last year and then got Cleveland to buy it and got a 2nd round pick.
Meanwhile, Cleveland just bought themselves a year in the desert then will move out when Watson is ready to take over. Only cost them a 2nd round pick.
Dallas is currently trying to trade him.
but every team is just waiting for Dallas to cut him. Why trade for him when you can get him on the open market in a couple days?
They chose not too. Instead they are currently trying to trade him to get some value back
Clevleand got, didnt give, the 2nd round pick. In exchange for taking the contract off the books we also got a 2nd rounder.
Texan gave up Brock AND a 2nd round pick. And we'll prolly cut him.
It was a complete success, created only to make you mGoAngry
I read the original post incorrectly. Thought it was B.Os for a 2018 2nd rounder.
Just read the details on the new thread. It is still a good deal for both teams considering the salary dump for the Texans.
I really doubt Clev drops Osweiler this year. Even with him, the Brownies go 4-12 as opposed to 2-14 with any other QB on their roster
prolly?
After this trade Cleveland has 2 1s and 2 2s this year and 1 first rounder and 3 2nd rounders next year. We have enough ammo to get Garret at #1 and then go after either Garrapolo OR Cousins.
Nobody in the NFL is laughing at the Browns right now for what they're doing today.
Or you could always provide a link. But yeah you're right, the BROWNS will probably be back in the AFC Championship Game in no time! Brock can really sling it with the best of em. He proved that leading the high powered Houston Texans offense to the playoffs last year. What a bargain.
everyone is still laughing at Cleveland because Cleveland SUCKS.
The difference is that they bought themselves a month before they really screw up picking in the draft or until they trade for that bum Cousins.
Still the MISTAKE BY THE LAKE and located on Ohio.
Everyone is laughing at Cleveland because its fucking Cleveland.
They could own the first 10 picks in the draft, use them all, and they'd still go 2-14 next year.
