OT: NFL Draft Day 3 Rd 4-7 Open Thread

Otherwise know as me posting to myself. Though I'm sure the Draft will be popular on the West Coast at 7 am. Looks like we have an ESPN crew upgrade with Wingo, McShay and Jaws with Kiper.

Stevenson Sylvester, OLB from Utah, picked by the steelers. I really liked this guy and was hoping that he would either fall to the 7th or 6th and lions could trade up for him. Oh well, only one more round to wait for the epic 7th round and Mr. Irrelevant. lets find a gem!

Personally I'd like Myron Rolle to the Lions in the 7th. He could be a solid contributor at 6'2" 220 next to Delmas. I liked him at FSU and as a person. Obviously he has to make it there first though.

Though I don't know about the Bears giving up all their picks for a QB, to then...draft a QB. They should always have Kiper and McShay together, to bicker.

OK, now I really want Myron Rolle on my team. How does a potential (then fulfilled) Rhodes Scholar end up on FSU, anyway?

So who do we think Mel Kiper's #1 draft pick will be for next year? Last year he was all over Curtis Painter. Is there some random meh talent-QB at any Big Ten or Big East also-ran that he can claim for next year?

So judging by the fact that Iowa has had 6 players drafted, I'm assuming they aren't supposed to be as good this year?

They lose Moeaki and Buluga. Those are pretty huge. Lost Angerer and Speivey as well. Those should hurt. It really depends if you think they were lucky last year or talented.
