Invitees who accepted:
In addition to [quarterback Sam] Bradford, [defensive tackle Ndamukong] Suh and [defensive tackle Gerald] McCoy, the players who have accepted invitations are running backs C.J. Spiller and Jahvid Best, cornerbacks Joe Haden and Brandon Ghee, offensive tackles Russell Okung, Bryan Bulaga and Trent Williams; defensive tackles Lamarr Houston, Jared Odrick and Dan Williams; defensive end Derrick Morgan, receiver Demaryius Thomas and safety Eric Berry.
As we've heard before, Tim Tebow was invited, but has apparently not accepted to date.

3 to 5 tops should be invited and only players that are almost guaranteed to go within the Top 10 (Suh, Bradford, Okung, etc). Its just sad to have a guy sit there for hours and now possibly a couple days before they get drafted.

After the "look at Brady Quinn sweat uncomfortably for three hours" fiasco, the NFL decided to revamp who is invited. I guess they now canvas the teams to get an idea of who it should be.

ESPN and the NFL loves the situations like Brady Quinn... it gives the draft a human interest story line happening live.. not just a story of how a guy got there. Makes for good, if not great TV... everyone was talking about it... wondering if this is the pick.. It's not cool for Brady Quinn... but somehow ESPN and the NFL loved it in a small way.
