The FannMan

I was resisting getting excited for this.  However, my 10 year-old self just hit my 44 year old-self over the head with a 34 year old x-wing fighter toy (which we both wish we had kept) and is now running the show.

So, yeah, can't wait.

that trailer gave me chills. I am so excited! Plus JJ Abrams background is fantastic. Everything I've ever seen that he's been involved with has been good or better. That started with Alias. Jennifer Garner was awesome in that show.

Thanks for posting the trailer I remember standing in line in 1976 or 77 (whichever it was!) to see the original.  They had the big cardboard standup display of a jedi knight holding a lightsaber up.

I have mixed emotions about this movie...mainly because I absolutely love Star Wars.  But I now absolutely despise Disney.

Hard for me to knowingly patronize American companies that do this to our citizens

the film "Up in the Air".

Very sad to read that article about Disney severence letters and terms.

But alas there is no such thing as "loyalty" in the at-will world of work. Those who don't realize this nor prepare for it suffer the most. At the same time, declining loyalty in the workdplace is a double-edged sword that companies can't cope well with either.  There are other companies and industries that desperately need good, solid, non-flaky people, but they can't hang on to them despite ridiculous pay and perks.

Life is flimsy.
