OT: NEW PS3 NCAA 2012 Dynasty

Submitted by BradP on

Ok, so there was some overflow from the other online dynasty, and I'm really wanting to get one of these dynasties going.

So first off, I would like to come up with some settings for it.  Here's what I'm thinking:

8 Minute Quarters

All-American Gameplay and Recruiting difficulty

Players start as the head coach of the 3* or lower team of their choice

I'd like to get 10 or 12 players signed up for this.

So who is interested and who would make suggestions for the dynasty settings?

I get the concern, but there hasn't been a point where this board has been overrun by dynasty threads, and there are currently a half dozen OT threads on the front page as it is.

Plus the other one ran its course.

First off, I would like to say I am brand new to the blog.  I have been following it for over 1 year and have decided to become a contributing member!  I am also a suscriber to Wolverine Nation and our good friend TVH.  I am interested in joining this Dynasty and I look forward to getting more information about it.

bdcommish55 is my tag...but I will not be able to accept an invite until later tonight.

So basically you can be any school from any conference as long as it's 3*'s or lower?

It'll be hard to get guys to play against each other if we're not in the same conference... my only suggestion... a lot of playing against a computer opponent kinds defeats the purpose.

Well for me, building the program is as big a part of the fun as playing the games.

I like the idea of everyone being a member of the same conference, but I would expect it to be a bit of a problem for those who ended up with Minnesota, Indiana, Northwestern, Purdue and the like.  I figure the retention rate for players controlling those schools would be extremely poor.

My mind can be changed on this.

pick a smaller non BCS conference... that could be fun.. but you have to worry about people accepting job offers from higher schools.. make a rule that says you have to stay in the MAC or whatever conference you pick.

But I'm game to give it a shot for whatever.

Hey guys,

not sure if we lost everyone since it has been a while since someone replied to this thread. I have created a league designed for MAC schools only. BradP i see that you do not have an EA account or at least have not logged on to NCAA2012 so I have sent invites to people that have already responded. If you wish to take over as commish, I can send it over to you or if you want me to run it I can do that too.

Basics:  6 min quarters, must be MAC school (even though it will allow you to pick from another conference), advances every 3 days.  if we get enough interest I will send out the link to another blog page to keep up with the league.

Anyone else who is interested reply with your screen name.  It would be nice to start the league by Saturday.

Hey guys.  The plan is to start the Dynasty on Friday Night/Saturday.  Please send me your email adress so that we can stay organized.  You can find mine in the Dynasty Wire on NCAA2012.

We will advance every three days so you will need to complete week 1 by Tuesday Morning.

If you are still interested in joining, post here or add me as a friend on PSN.
