1. Seeing Miami in anything but Nike just seems weird, though I don't know why.
2. I actually like them. They're a whole hell of a lot better than some others we have seen recently.

You know, I found myself saying the same thing when I saw these, but then looking through the Michigan goggles, I could never fathom something like this being done by any apparel manufacturer really. If I at least try to look at this from a Miami standpoint, a uniform like this seems like it might be fairly easy to get behind because Miami, but I could be off there. Point taken, however.

Miami is my second favorite team. I don't like them as much as the uniforms Nike released last year. However, considering that I had very low expectaions for Adidas, I think these uniforms are pretty nice and reflect their tradition.

They would have some South Florida bro with an awsome tan and sideways golf visor wearing the jersey.  He will be giving a "U" sign while looking at his stripper girlfriend's fake boobs.  There will be a side pocket for his Heat jersey that he will throw on immediagtely after Miami gets its ass kicked by FSU.  The $1,500 sunglass are extra.

They are not fat, middle-aged guys with beer.  Actually, that's us.  Or at least me.  Cheers!

Just like it was weird when Michigan switched to Adidas from Nike 8 years ago. Better looking jersey for The U than what Nike was doing for them I just wasn't a fan of the Denver Broncos look on The U. Just going to be weird The U isn't a Nike school anymore.

It's easy to look great when expectations are making a bowl game and not winning conference championships and Rose Bowls. IMO that's part of why he failed here and why he would fail at Miami. If you don't win immediately and consistently, here and there, your tenure will go downhill fast. It's not to say he couldn't be successful there, but it would be a lot harder than building a program elsewhere.
