OT: Nevada at Notre Dame
The line on the Nevada ND game is currently at 14 1/2. This is a tough one. Nevada returns its very good qb, but ND also returns the Emo. At first I was inclined to bet on Nevada, but the more I think about it maybe ND is the right choice. I could see ND running it up a bit -- 37-17 maybe?

ND will probably win, but Nevada has a very good offense and NDs defense (esp against the spread) is a question. It will be closer than people think.

I want them to win. I would hate for them to lose to Nevada then somehow beat us.

This is a really tough one. I think ND has pretty good speed on defense, it's a question of whether they can stop Nevada from gaining enough yards on the ground to keep the chains moving.
I think Nevada will run the ball well enough that it definitely won't be a blowout... But ND will still score enough to get comfortable lead late. With a 14 pt spread a garbage time TD could swing it either way. I'd probably go with ND.

Weis and ND could get "pistol-whipped" by Nevada's offense. Sadly, though, I think ND can probably slog through their defense enough to outscore them. I think it might be best for UM, though, if ND blows Nevada out.
I would love to see their team be as fat and overconfident as their coach coming into the UM game.

I think they have the same upset chance as Michigan (if that isn't reflected enough in the spreads). Both Nevada and ND should be better teams compared to WMU and UM respectively. It's my e-pinion though that ND will jump ahead early and squeak it out at the end, causing ND fans everywhere to overreact into thinking they're going to the MNC.
