Was he going to play though?
I think most believe he was going to be in the 2 deep. The problem for ND is that they are already lacking depth in the secondary.
Their secondary was very thin before the injury. Now, it could be bad enough to really derail the entire season for the Irish and potentially cost Kelly his job.
I had no idea that a torn labia could keep a football player sidelined for such a long time.
I see what you did there.
that is unlikely, to say the least
if im not mistaken, that's cris collinsworth's kid.
Yes it is.
The Irish are getting the yang for all of their years of ying.
- Holtz - liar/cheater
- O'Leary - nice resume buddy
- Ty - hey look we got one too
- Weiss - schematically advantaged prick
- Kelly - what, why should I be accountable for that?
Notre Dame has a lot of 'karma' payback before they get any of their 'Luck' back.
No insult for Bob Davie?
Well, I'm not going to wish injuries on anyone, but anything that can help us win I'm down with.
You are sort of a dick.
Although that's pretty much true, it's not because of that comment. You don't think this thread exists so we can read about an injured kid at ND and be sad about it?
Like I said, I'm not one to hope for injuries to anyone. However, injuries are a part of football and having depth is part of winning. If we win because ND's injuries hurt them more than ours do, thats fine by me. And that doesn't make me a dick.
Yeah, it's not like he has a blown out knee or crazy consussion that will end his career and affect his life. He'll only miss a few games, and I'm glad it's against us.
Side note: David in Wyoming's post is moderated "insightful" which is pretty funny, even if it's at my expense.
I feel bad for the kid. Tough luck.
As for ND, after experiencing NEVER FORGET, I look upon their supposed "depth issues" and scoff. They know not the meaning of "depth issues."
They must feel alright about their depth because as a person that has dealt with a torn labrum for years I suggest it is an injury that can be managed until a convenient time for surgery.
It sounds like that convenient time already happened, and he is recovering from the surgery.
It can't, if you are trying to tackel 225 lb halfbacks and even bigger tight ends. Labrum tears are usually fine, but they lead to instability in the shoulder, one of two ball and socket joints in the body. Last thing you want as a contact sport player is instability in your shoulder. Not getting it fixed can lead to repeated dislocations and nerve damage
The labia are parts of the female genitalia. So, if he tore his "labia," then ND must have real problems.
(though it would make it easier to understand why he might be part of the "two deep.")
Yes, doctor, that's the joke.
who comments on the torn "labia"
But I now see the /s notation. Sorry.
it is all busted to shit.
Next time ND feels bad about our depth problems will be the first.
We're Michigan Fergodsakes
I smell another 8-5 season
Can't imagine torn labias smell good
