I started off this game rooting for Sparty to win, but I've changed that. Virginia all the way!
That is far and away the weakest bracket and was from the start.

And yet, they finished 3rd in the Big Ten this year and were awarded with a 7 seed. Compare that to the fradulent Big 12 where the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th place teams received three 3 seeds and a 5 seed collectively.
That's your first mistake. Never ever root for Sparty to win.
Eh, my brother and a lot of friends went to MSU and are mostly reasonable people nowadays. They don't really bother me much.
A number of family members went to MSU.
I will say outside of said family members, a massive proportion of Sparty fan base has seriously gone asshole over the last 6 years or so. Don't mind the school, can't stand the fans.
Can stand anything about OSU or ND. I hope they forever lose and their fans get leprosy
For the first couple years of Dantonio, my friends who went to school there were pretty obnoxious. However, they are fine now.
Other than that, I can't imagine getting annoyed by fans who didn't actually attend the school.
I think you have to live there. It's different when you see the App State t-shirts, muck fichigan t-shirts, etc. everyday if you live in Okemos vs. just having a couple relatives who are annoying for awhile living in Chelsea.

Tbh it works. Izzo has a reputation and knows how to manipulate the committee and nation every year. It even rubs off on refs with all his bitching. I wish Beilein would be more fiery sometimes... but I also like cool calm and collected.

In three brackets, I have Virginia winning this game, although now I am a little shaky about those prospects admittedly. Virginia is probably lucky that they can get offensive rebounds at a decent clip or it would not even be as close as 38-32 right now. They have at least managed - at points - slow the game down to that agonizing, almost dead pace they enjoy though. That helps some as well.
Two incredibly boring teams IMO. Could not choose that game over Hull-Chelsea or Blues-Wings
Virginia can't shoot worth a lick.
If UVa chokes, my bracket is officially busted and can never come back to life.

Stop anticipating a foul just because a guy leaves his feet. Shouldn't be calling a foul there unless you saw something that was a foul, not call one just because you assume he fouled. Huge momentum killer.

How do you give someone a timeout when there's no possession of the ball? I really fucking hate when refs give in to Izzo's whining and bitching to give him the benefit of the doubt on calls.

This is a clownshow. Trice acts like he got shot and baits a foul call. No way the officials let UVA win this game.
These refs have gone from sea level to Badwater Basin in about 5 minutes.
