OT - NCAA Baseball Super Regionals

Submitted by bacon1431 on

Don't know how many have been paying attention, but the Super Regionals have been going on this weekend. LSU and UCLA have already punched their tickets to the College World Series, with UCLA upsetting the #5 overall seed in Cal State Fullerton. Been some really good games so far. Watched the UNC-USC (South Car.) yesterday and that game was settled in the last AB. Indiana and FSU was a good game as well if you like offense. There are 6 Game 2s on the docket today and I believe that all will be on ESPN/ESPN2/ESPN3

1 PM - #1 UNC-USC - UNC leads 1-0

1 PM - Indiana- #7 FSU - IU leads 1-0  - the Hoosiers could be the first B1G team since Michigan in 1984 to play in the CWS (Not counting Nebraska's trips in 01, 02, and 05 when they were in the B12). Would be good for the conference for them to go.

4 PM - Louiville- #2 Vanderbilt - UL leads 1-0

4 PM - Rice- NC State - NCST leads 1-0

7 PM - Miss St - Virginia - MSU leads 1-0

10 PM Kansas St - #3 Oregon St - KSU leads 1-0

Tigers draft picks on these teams:

2nd round - RHP Kevin Ziomek (Vandy)

3rd round - LHP Jeffrey Thompson (Louisville)

4th round - RHP Kevin Zubitza (Rice)

7th round - CF Connor Harrell (Vandy)

9th round - RHP Will LaMarche (LSU)

11th round - RHP Chad Green (Louisville)

15th round - OF Raphael Rhymes (LSU)
