OT: NBA Pre-Season Miami vs Detroit
Should be an interesting opener. Mainly interesting due to Detroit's awkward team and Miami's giants.
It's on FSN for the Michigan folks.

When are you going to care less?

The best team in the NBA on paper will be on the floor tonight.

many empty seats there are. I know its preseason, but this is the BEST TEAM EVER.

I think that part of that is that ticket broker's bought a lot of tickets and the Heat really jacked up ticket prices. On Sportscenter, they said something to the effect that the available tickets for the preseason game were between $89-400. Considering that some other teams are giving away tickets for free for some of their preseason games, that's kinda hefty.

I know I'm biased towards my hometown (Chicago) but the Blackhawks sold out a PRACTICE this year already, and the Bulls have lead the league in attendance recently despite being a .500 team. I do not understand why LeBron and Wade chose to play in front of 10k fans instead of 22k.
That part of their choice is mind bottling for me

That's South Florida for you. That arena will be 50% empty every night by midseason.

yawn....

This team is still going to be horrible...i know its preseason...but i cant stand to watch them. I dont know how Joe D still has his job to tell you the truth.

Oh damn. My dish company is in disute with FSN so they have the channel blocked. No Pistons for me this year. They will stink, so I guess I am not missing much.

I didn't really realize how depressing this would be. From crowd response to Piston's outstandingly terrible performance.

FYI, if you're out of Michigan, you can see this game on NBA Tv.

Watched part of the game. Pistons looked flat out horrible. Hopefully they can be decent this season, but I dunno. I just want Rip and Tay gone at this point.

John Wall is the real deal but I'm sure that we all know that.
