OT ? for my Blue Brethren

Submitted by Wolfman on

It appears my annual trek to Mexico will most likely be moved up this year. Since Jim has returned to AA, I don't really like to leave until after the final regular season game. I can pick up the bowl games in Mexico.

My question: Is there a streaming site that offers UM games that I could possibly subscribe to? I can't imagine a free site that would offer all games, but if such is the case I would, of course, be interested in that. Quality is a priority, but access to the wolverines is paramount of course.

Thanks in advance for any assistance you can offer.

Searching via Google for the Reddit CFB Streams forum generally yields pretty decent quality streams without pop ups (advise you use Ad Blocker though). I don't know why it wouldn't work in Mexico as it worked for me when I lived in India

If you know exactly where you will be, you may be surprised with the options you have in that city.  I remember reading a request from someone in Singapore and they were able to find other MGoBloggers near them.

If not, I agree with Go Blue In NC, if you do stream online, make sure you have Pop-Up Blockers.

If you have a playstation 4 and order the Vue, you can watch TV anywhere in the world as long as you have the PS4 with you. They have all FSN, ESPN, Big Ten Network. They do not have live ABC in some markets.

You don't need the PS4 either - it will work with Amazon Fire or Roku devices as well. (and work as an App on Apple devices..not sure on others). Note: Have had some issues on PSVue streaming some content outside of "home" ISP, but still can access streams via the individual apps like BTN to go etc.

I tried it last month. They say it requires a 10mbps or better connection; I ran it on about 4mbps with no trouble at all. The quality wasn't up there with HD cable or satellite, but the price is right, especially with no contract. As soon as my dish contract is up I'm switching.

Ahh I was in Mexico this past week and some gentleman on here told me to do a VPN. I found a good server to connect to and watched the whole game on my iPad pool side.

Most of these steaming service lock you out when outside the US. YouTube has these games within 24 hours usually but that doesn't help you on Saturday. :(

SIDE NOTE for OP:

I worked in Germany mid 1990's as a recent college grad. Bought a TV/VCR combo and an american voltage converter.

Had my Dad record Michigan games on VCR (that is Video Cassette Recording) and mail me (a box with a stamp on it) these VCR tapes and I watched the games 1-2 weeks after they happened.

It was OK, because there wasn't any internet or email and international calls were big $$$ so I had no clue what actually happened until I watched the tape.

Go off the grid, man.

This is so easy:

1) take your laptop/iPad/iPhone and download a free, reliable VPN like Betternet or Hola
2) it will connect you anywhere in the world to a US IP address
3) stream through watchESPN or any other cable-provided service

Just tested and did this in Germany this past weekend. Perfect.

I live in Eastern Europe and livestream the games. Adblocker is a must (as stated above) and Hola is a help! I  use either FirstRow sports or Stream2watch (which ever is giving me the best connection). NOTE: Don't ever pay for anything -- it is all free!

Hiya,

These posts pop-up from time to time about how to watch the game abroad...  I live in Europe and have found that some of the free websites have poor quality in picture.  To watch the game in decent quality, I have found that ESPN Player and BTN to go are the best.

Good luck in watching the game.  Go Blue!!!
