OT: Motor City Comic Con 2016; Lena Headey and others
This year's event is coming up (May 13-15). I have never been to a Comic Con but am considering making the trip over to Novi this year.
A couple confirmed actors that I'd be personally interested in stalking seeing are GOT's Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister) and various members of The Walking Dead (Shane, Abraham, Eugene, Gabriel, Sasha, Jesse).
I'm sure that some of you will be beside yourselves to learn that Ian Ziering and Tara Reid will make an appearance. Feel free to out your inner geek by listing others of personal interest.

Will Luke Perry be there too or is he in a retirement home?
I think he's been working with Krusty the Clown for some time under the name Sideshow Luke Perry.
on the Krusty comeback special.
But I'll never understand the appeal of paying some already wealthy person $ for their autograph or a picture.
It was nice of them to use a picture of Tara Ried from the 90's though.
#NoPolo Even the president or former president? Those routinely go for upwards of $500.
And if I'm going to buy autographed merchandise it's nice to have it signed in person. A lot of sci-fi actors are "b-list" at best and have a lot of fun with these things. I ended up talking with Edward James Olmos for 5 minutes or so, he's a blast.

Tara Reid? Wow. When was the last time she did anything?
I've honestly heard nothing about her in years except when she dropped back in for American Reunion. And no, I'm not counting that Sharknado crap.
was awesome. All three of them.
I have to seriously question whether those movies are to be considered "good," or if they were so horrifically awful that they'll turn into some kind of funny cult classic over the next few years.
in the Academy Award winning sense. But they were funny. And there were some excellent cameo appearances by pretty big stars.
I was surprised to see a really fat Vivica Fox.
Bunny Lebowski?

How did the OP not mention noted Michigan fan Ric Flair?
Shame,shame, shame!
I will be there Saturday on passes that my sister has graciously offered to get for me, so I can walk around with a media-type pass on a lanyard and look important. She'll also have a booth there as well, so I may be there quite a bit of the time as well. I believe a few people here have even said that they own some of her artwork, so small world indeed. I may or may not identify myself as an MGoBlogger.
Her site is katiecandraw.com
She's a veteran of shows like Emerald City Comic Con, New York City Comic Con, San Diego and a few others (well, more than a few - Chicago, Orlando, Dallas, Phoenix, etc...), including shows in Australia and Europe as well. She'll be doing Frankfurt in August and was in London in March.
Hopefully Lena will reprise her GOT walk of shame - I'd pay to see that in person and wouldn't even throw feces on her!
I went last year and it was a good time, especially if you're a comic geek. Don't overlook Adam West and Burt Ward being there. Batman 66 is awesomely cheezy.
