Hands down...Also starting to despise the Packers recently.
November 20th, 2011 at 6:10 PM ^
They are master choke artists and i dont know how they became "americas team". That always pissed me off
November 20th, 2011 at 6:20 PM ^
Cmon guys show some live for my Cowboys, only team to beat the 49ers
November 20th, 2011 at 6:25 PM ^
What have they done since 95? The Romosexual is one of the biggest choke artists of all time. Jerry Jones is a sucker too. Now that Al Davis has died and Millen got canned he is by far the worst GM in the NFL. A 1st and a 3rd for Roy Williams. Thanks.. Didn't he also give us a 6th for Shitna? lol Ain't no fool like an old fool.
November 20th, 2011 at 7:14 PM ^
Yep, Dallas for sure. "America's team" my ass.
November 20th, 2011 at 6:10 PM ^
The Jets and Giants fans have been getting on my nerves lately. Fans who think their teams have great QBs when they are both pretty average.
November 20th, 2011 at 6:12 PM ^
As a NY Giants fan, who cares what your opinion is. Pretty Average team ?. When was the last time your dumbass team made the Superbowl & won it. ?
Thought So. !
November 20th, 2011 at 6:12 PM ^
rested.
November 20th, 2011 at 7:16 PM ^
Better than Lions. Case DEFINITELY... rested.
November 20th, 2011 at 8:07 PM ^
What makes you think he is a Lions fan? I don't think the Lions can match anyone in "recent success."
November 20th, 2011 at 8:29 PM ^
You left out the part where you make your case though.
Oh, wait, you always do that.
November 20th, 2011 at 11:52 PM ^
You should really stop talking. After that performance, as a giants fan,im not opening my mouth.
November 20th, 2011 at 6:20 PM ^
I was referring to the QBs not the teams. Manning is average, Sanchez is below average. And I don't actually have a team, really couldn't care less for pro football outside of Michigan players.
November 20th, 2011 at 6:24 PM ^
November 20th, 2011 at 11:58 PM ^
Really ? He's awful ? Super bowl MVP buddy. That was one of the most incredible runs through the playoffs in NFL history. Eli took a 10-6 wildcard team through tampa bay on the road,Dallas on the road, Green Bay on the road, and against the "unbeatable" patriots with the best QB in the game and beat them.I would not respond to this.
November 20th, 2011 at 7:42 PM ^
I'm a Giants fan, I apologize on behalf of the fanbase for the asshat Giants fan that commented above.
Eli was slightly above average the last couple years and has been well above average this year. Coming into this year I believe he had the 8th best rating of starting QB's over the last couple years, this year he has the 5th best.
Is he elite? Depends how you define elite:
All time great: NO!
Top 5 this year: Yes!
Side note: After having posted this I fully expect Eli to lay a giant egg on national TV tonight thus undermining my point.
November 20th, 2011 at 7:46 PM ^
http://www.pro-football-reference.com/play-index/comeback.cgi?player=Ma…
Eli plays his best football in the 4th quarter when his team needs him the most. Also, he doesn't miss starts. He is durable and he has time and time again come through in the clutch. Just based on his stats he is slightly above average. Adding in his intangibles, he is even more above average.
That being said, I'm not unreasonable in my opinion of him. He's not an all time great, but I believe over half of the teams in the NFL would trade their current starting QB for him given the opportunity.
November 20th, 2011 at 7:54 PM ^
As someone who picked up Eli late in my fantasy draft im happily surprised with the results, and I agree with how you defined him. I do believe he is in the conversation for top 5 QB's in the league. After Brady, Brees, Rodgers, P Manning(when healthy) the talent gets watered down a bit, I think Eli, Roethlisberger, and Vick are in that second tier.
Also most hated team is probably the Minnesota Vikings, after years and years of the horrors plagued by the metrodome im enjoying their demise.
November 20th, 2011 at 6:12 PM ^
Followed closely in recent years by the Jets.
The Steelers also have a special place in hell, mostly because you can't ever get away from their fans without fleeing the country.
November 20th, 2011 at 6:29 PM ^
I have a skewed perspective because i go to school in pittsburg but i can stand listening to these damn yinzers talking about their beloved Stillers
November 20th, 2011 at 6:38 PM ^
Though I am also a Ravens fan (from Baltimore), so that might have something to do with it as well.
November 20th, 2011 at 7:15 PM ^
Yes, ageed. By far the Steelers. Living in western pa is the worst during football season. Their fans are the absolute worst.
November 20th, 2011 at 9:32 PM ^
Steeler Nation might be the greatest fanbase in all of professional sport. Bittersweet to see Michigan borrow the great tradition seen below...
November 20th, 2011 at 6:11 PM ^
Because my wife is from Chicago and I (the SE Michigan native) am still pissed about last week.
November 20th, 2011 at 6:13 PM ^
The Bears no doubt about it
November 20th, 2011 at 6:15 PM ^
The Giants. and every other team from New York.
And the Eagles; only because Hugh Douglass is a new low in ESPN's history of awful "journalists."
... and because I will never forgive Mike Vick.
November 20th, 2011 at 6:15 PM ^
Cowboys.
Go Redskins, even though Graham Gano should not be an NFL kicker.
November 20th, 2011 at 7:05 PM ^
Redskins have prove themselves to be thugs time and time again. Albert Hainesworth anyone? The prototypical skins player.
November 20th, 2011 at 10:26 PM ^
You're joking right...
Skins are thugs? I'm sorry but there is no comparison to the Bengals. Our ownership is awful and Haynesworth was the world's worse signing. That doesn't make them thugs.
November 20th, 2011 at 6:18 PM ^
Packers. Ever since I was a little kid I hated the Packers.
November 20th, 2011 at 6:19 PM ^
November 20th, 2011 at 6:20 PM ^
I live in TN but hate the Titans with passion
November 20th, 2011 at 6:20 PM ^
Fuck 'em both.
November 20th, 2011 at 7:17 PM ^
Great answer. Same to U !
November 20th, 2011 at 6:23 PM ^
The Lions. Dirty team with the dirtiest player in the league, stupidest, most delusional fan base in the league, and a coach that does that stupid fist pump thing when they win.
November 20th, 2011 at 6:24 PM ^
This won't end well.
November 20th, 2011 at 6:25 PM ^
You hate the Lions the most out of any team in the NFL? Dear God.
November 20th, 2011 at 7:54 PM ^
Lions suck and you're all kidding yourselves. Accept it.
November 20th, 2011 at 6:27 PM ^
The Lions > Sommy.
Case closed.
November 20th, 2011 at 7:19 PM ^
Agreee. Garbage is cleaner than the Lions Defense.... Starting with Mr. Suh.
November 20th, 2011 at 7:23 PM ^
Their coach is a blowhard, the players are undisciplined and their quarterback is as durable as a set of crystal stemware on a transatlantic flight. And yeah, since Detroit is finally competitive, many fans think they're Super Bowl-bound. Make the playoffs first.
November 20th, 2011 at 8:56 PM ^
... just makes me so happy. It means we're actually part of the conversation. So, please, hate all you want. It only further reminds me that the Lions are actually decent.
November 20th, 2011 at 8:58 PM ^
November 20th, 2011 at 9:27 PM ^
Yeah, fuck that guy for celebrating when his team wins!
November 20th, 2011 at 6:24 PM ^
Jimmy Clausen and Cam Newton. What a horrible, horrible combination.
November 20th, 2011 at 9:36 PM ^
And I hate to point this out, but also Armanti Edwards.
November 20th, 2011 at 6:26 PM ^
Ray Lewis makes my skin crawl. He allegedly stabs a guy and now he is all preachy. I can't stand him.
November 20th, 2011 at 6:27 PM ^
If the NY Jets played Ohio State, I would be forced to route for a terrorist attack.
