It's coming down to the wire. As of 8:07 Eastern, Pincher's is winning 53-47 with 5951 votes cast.
I've got it on good authority (don't bother checking) that the Anna Marie Oyster Bar is a truck stop/MSU Alumni Bar. The RCMB is attempting to spike this thing for the bad guys.

Besides, lots of people from Michigan go to south Florida to eat our favorite fish sandwiches at Pinchers--a Wolverine's home away from home!

...this topic (SWFlaBlue) knows the owner of Pinchers. SWFlaBlue said he would marshal MGoBlogerati power to help win the online poll. Owner said he would create a Michigan corner if he won. Who knows if there will really be follow through on his part. MSU/OSU ties are jokes. SWFlaBlue edited his original entry on the other thread after some MGoBloggers left ill advised, very uncool comments on the poll's page.
People really left mean messages? That's jacked up. I just thought we were going to have some Name of the Year style fun...

Still hope we get a small "Thank you" from Pinchers for the support. (My vote is for the Henne Photo doing the Gator chop.....or Tebow getting smothered; both are appropriate since they are "Pinching"
I will be in Florida TWICE in April. (Kid Rock Chillin the Most Cruise, and Key West) I may drop in on Pinchers....I may also flex muscles in a UM Tank top at AMOB

SWFlaBlue: Looking forward to your update on whether your buddy will really install the Michigan corner. There's no way to definitively know this, but I've got to think that the votes from the MGoBlogerati was likely decisive given the closeness of the results.
I do resolve that if I get down Sarasota way, I'll pop into Pincher's and AMOB to sample the 941 Fish Fight's top two.
