This list is completely arbitrary and not a genuine analysis of the relative merits of state fossils.
OT: Missouri Football abandon's the block "M". Replaced with Tiger Logo.
I'm going to be a dick and point out that apostrophes are meant for possessives or contractions unless you are Shakespeare. If you aren't sure that you need to use an apostrophe, you shouldn't...
Maybe it's just me, but I like seeing some variations of uniforms every now and again. Like the legacy jerseys last year. And judging by the amount of them we saw in the stands every Saturday, so did lots of other folks. Don't get me wrong, I love our traditional uni's, but 1-2 specialty uni's a year is cool.
Oh, and I dig the Mizzou changes.
Tremendous
These are pretty sweet in my opinion. Now if they ever invert those colors, a la WVU, I will vomit.
I would be happy with that if i were a fan
Its called a royale with cheese
Are there going to be 3 tiger teams in the SEC? And two bulldogs. Yeah diversity!
Give them SEC boys a break. Comin' up with team names is hard stuff. Gotta be all creative and use your brain and such. Missouri and Alabama aren't really known for much. In honor of the great southern tradition of catfish noodlin', I still think a team in MS or LA has to be named the Fightin' Catfish. Ole' Miss Rebels is fitting, so MSST should definitely get in touch with me about their new mascot name. I only want small percentages of all athletic revenues.
This should probably be its own OT thread, but I like when team mascots have something unique about the school or state or whatever. Schools that just pick a mascot because it sounds intimidating or valorous are lame.
Good: Wolverines (because of the Michigan regiment at the Battle of Gettysburg who "fought like Wolverines", not because there's Wolverines in Michigan), Buckeyes, Sooners, Longhorns, Gators, Seminoles, Crimson Tide, Sun Devils, Cornhuskers, Broncos, etc.
Bad: Spartans. Fighting Irish. Any team named Tigers, Knights, or Eagles.
Hail.
It's not too bad. Better than copying Michigan's block M and better than nothing at all, nothing at all!
But branding only gets you so far. If they can't back the branding up with a quality product, competing well and winning (or at least not embarrassing themselves) on the field, then all the branding genius in the world isn't going to help.
What a dick.
[Caved troll is caved. Sorry, Mobile app users.]
...resisting the urge to neg this just because of the tattoo...
Hail.
Tigers fan?
Man ball. Formerly, somebody else.

Okay I can't lie, those are pretty sweet. Especially since our M is the iconic one...
Denard has spent the offseason working really hard and smiling at people.
