When I was growing up many moons ago in lovely Pontiac, Michigan, my family was a "host house" for the Miss Teen Michigan contest that was held annually somewhere in the area.  For years all i knew was that once a year there were three or four teenage girls running around the house making a LOT of noise, hogging the shower and generally making my pre-pubesent life miserable.  Then one year they didn't show up.  Then the next year they didn't show up either.  By the third year (I was now probably around 14) I remember being bummed the teenage girls weren't coming to the house anymore and I asked my mom why we weren't a host home anymore cause now I was actually looking forward to having a house full of good-looking teenage girls.

She said that's why we stopped hosting.  She knew I WAS looking forward to the girls arrival...a little TOO much.

Haha, I know that feeling.  Long story short, when I was younger I was really good friends with this cute girl, we playfully flirted a lot.  A few years later, when I was actually interested in girls, we weren't really that close anymore and she was still smoking hot.  Needless to say I was disappointed at the opportunity I didn't jump on when I was younger.

That's my story of the day.
