for all of the football hungry fans out there the season here in michigan gets under way under today thru saturday .... it may not be college athletes but I love watching the boys playing football for just the love of the game and look forward to catching a game or two this weekend ... brings back the memories of my playing days plus IT MEANS FOOTBALL SEASON IS HERE!!!

2 GR area teams, 4 Muskegon area teams, 1 Holland, 1 TC.
Skimmed over the Freep previews, pretty down on the West side this year.
Muskegon and Holland Christian have new coaches.
Cody Kater (probably the #4 QB in the state) is back for Montague. Max Bullough is a heck of a player for TCSF.

I plan on being there Saturday for the Huron game and the Inkster vs. Ann Arbor game to see Jeremy Jackson, Devin Gardner, and Ricardo Miller play. Hopefully they put on a show, I'm pumped to see some football that counts unlike pre-season NFL games.
