OT: Michigan Football in your dreams

Last night I had this sweet dream.   I was playing fullback for Michigan and we were working on punt protection in practice.  Actually it was a "quick kick" play where Denard had the option to either run it or do a rugby punt.  Yes Denard had a punt option lol.

Anyway, my job as fullback was to line up next to Denard when he took the snap, and then stay in and protect for him.  We ran this play a few times and I was getting bored with just blocking.  So I asked Borges "why don't I motion out to the edge pre-snap...and then run a route out there to give Denard a pass option as well?

Borges was like "great idea, lets put it in the gameplan".  So we practiced that play over and over.  I would motion out presnap.. to the edge on the right side.  Then I would run a 12 yard button-hook and Denard would roll right.  He would have the option to run it, pass it to me, or do a rugby punt.  Denard was really cool, he and I were talking and laughing about how this was going to work in a real game.

The next thing I know we were playing some team, and I was in the Winged Helmet.  Strangely enough, we were playing in my old HS stadium, not Michigan Stadium.  We were buried deep in our own territory on 3rd down, and Al called my play.  I motioned out, and the DB followed me out there to the edge but he was playing off me about 5 yds.  I ran my button-hook and Denard rolled out and hit me with a beautiful pass.  I caught it, faked inside and the defender went that way, and then I rolled outside and cut it up the seam for an 80 yard TD.  I handed the ball to the official in the end zone (no showboating, this is Michigan) and my teammates mobbed me.  That is all I remember.

I know "cool story bro"...but it was a fun dream...to be a football hero...have any of you ever had dreams when you were playing for Michigan?

ha ha I guess it was a "quick kick" to catch the defense off guard, because we were pinned deep in our territory on third and long.. and hopefully get a good roll on the ball...Id have to ask dream Al Borges to be sure.

So crazy, no one would see it coming and the play would work to perfection! Obviously.

I once had a dream I was at a practice at Michigan Stadium and Hoke made me the Mike linebacker. It was disastrous in two ways: a) it was like Gerg was back, and b) it ended very painfully.

I woke up irrationally angry at Hoke and Mattison, but as time has gone on forgiveness has become easier to accept.

I once had a dream that I had the innate ability to find the people who posted dumb OPs on blogs that I read. First, I would sic my pack of manbearpigs on each person. The carnage was quite enjoyable. Then, just to make sure I made my point, I would drop nukes on each person, taking special care to make sure the bombs impacted them right in the middle of their heads. Then I would send the manbearpigs back in (they don't mind the radiation and such), just to make sure there were no remains.

I did this many times.

There's the one where I'm playing for UM, but for some reason everyone else forgot to wear pants.

And the one where I eat a big marshmallow. (I couldn't find my pillow the next morning.)

And where I show up to watch film and I forgot to study and Mattison kept asking me questions about Purdue's SAM linebacker. Oh, and I'm naked. And so is Mattison.

And the one where I post a thread that everyone mocks and then I wake up and the sheets are sticky. (Actually, they're sticky after all of these dreams.)

Punt option on 3rd down deep in own end.

Save it for 4th and medium just over midfield.

I'm glad to hear that dream Denard is as cool as real life Denard.

would never be caught in public naked, same for Greg. I know I would be scarred for life. Just the thought of it gives me the willies.
