Spotted this thing selling on Craigslist today:

How have I missed this beast on game day? Anyone ever seen something like this before?

Truth be told, I think it would have been a lot more impressive had they converted a hearse instead.

Probably for visual recognition? The M buses are a similar color if I remember correctly. Maybe not that bright.

That is not the athletics blue but there seems to be a lighter blue used in other university branding. Look at how many shades of blue are used on this single web page: The two blues in the top banner, and the various "darknesses" of the blue in the different promo graphics on UM social media home page. http://socialmedia.umich.edu

Need to be modified from that gott-awful red & gray/white to blue & amber/maize.

Funny the OP mentions a hearse. When my brother was a student at UM (circa 1980), he had a summer job doing painting for a lawyer in Ann Arbor. This lawyer had a maize and blue hearse that he let my brother drive for the summer. He got a lot of strange looks around town.

Between having amazing storage and 110v power outlets everywhere, it's probably the best equipped tailgate rig in the lot short of a motorhome.
