OT-Michigan fan Runs with Bulls in Spain
I believe his name is Chris Howard and that he's from Grand Rapids.
I thought it was a little more impressive than chasing bike riders. The bull at the top pinned him against the barrier wall and he was lucky not to get seriously injured.

I totally agree. I'm convinced that if we had lost that game in an ugly way (e.g., if the 4th quarter was like the first three), then people would think that jersey was just as hideous as the bumblebees.

Why do people do this?
I did this in 2003, it was a fantastic experience. Pamplona is well, the worst place on earth during this week.
I did it in 2002...midnight fireworks followed by 8 hours of binge drinking then a 1 km with a small percentage chance of death and/or injury....crash, get up do it all over again.
Plus, Pamplona smells like piss from their sincere lack of restrooms for 200,000 people that come into the city for St. Fermin festival.
Ah yes, the dominant smells of piss and alcohol. Who can forget.

And, perhaps, equally puzzling, Why do bulls do this?
I'm of the opinion the Munro Leaf's The Story of Ferdinand should be required reading for all bulls (and cows) in kindergarten or 1st grade.

ha, it was fun to watch our big guy bowl over two or three much smaller Europeans while trying to get away. Makes me feel proud to be an American! 'Murica
