Me thinks the closeted homosexual doth protest too much...

This is probably revenge for not getting invited to any of those dorm orgies with all those hot twinks.

This is always the first thought isn't it? It makes you wonder why guys like this go on such anti-gay crusades, because they're basically coming out of the closet publicly, but in a sort of self-destructive, self-hating way. So sad.

Took me a couple minutes to figure out what all those abbreviations were supposed to mean. I'm pretty sure "Assistant" isn't usually abbreviated "Ass". Also, "Attn" usually means "attention."

Michigan Ass Attention General confused me greatly.

So, not only is Mike Cox our rb this weekend but he is also the Attorney General of the state as well? There is no way we are losing this one gentlemen.

job keeping bigoted dicks like this guy and Rosenberg out of the university so they couldn't call themselves "Alums" which this this a-hole did multiple times during the interview.

...is how he says over and over again that "UM, ANDERSON, THIS ISN'T PERSONAL, ANDERSON", but then:

Among other things, Shirvell has published blog posts that accuse Armstrong of going back on a campaign promise he made to minority students; engaging in "flagrant sexual promiscuity" with another male member of the student government; sexually seducing and influencing "a previously conservative [male] student" so much so that the student, according to Shirvell, "morphed into a proponent of the radical homosexual agenda;" hosting a gay orgy in his dorm room in October 2009; and trying to recruit incoming first year students "to join the homosexual 'lifestyle.' "

Riiiiiiight.

Also, I didn't know this bit:

Michigan Attorney General Mike Cox has declined to comment directly about Shirvell's comments.

Male model. Attorney General. RAGE Back. He is a man of many talents.

Yeah, this needs to be locked down.  Everyone seems pretty careful so far, but there is enough to talk about here besides highly-charged politics.  How about IU's defensive line vs. UM's rushing attack?

If an assistant attorney general blogged about Tate Forcier being a Nazi for sulking on the sideline during the Connecticut game, we could keep it a-political.  I appreciate the OP giving us the heads up on the "smear campaign" of an assistant attorney general against a current UM student.

But, I do realize this could easily get into politics, so agreed - maybe best to delete.  Still, OP, appreciate the link.  That interview came off like an SNL skit.  Funny, but sad.

I mostly feel pity for an Assistant Attorney General who spends his free time ripping on a student body leader.  It's like when college kids go hang out with high school kids to feel all superior and cool, only ten times worse.

Dude you have a career, state wide responsibilities and you're a grown ass man.  Act like it.

Oh, wow, a thread showing that ::shock:: even Assistant Attorney Generals can use their 1st Amendment rights unreasonably. Who gives a crap?

I come here to read about sports, not hear people bitch and moan about a crazy dude "picking" on some LGBT MSA President who has infinitely more administrative and ideological support from the University wrt his politics than his mentally unstable counterpart.
