At a corporte event I attended a few months ago, the owner of Under Armor spoke of how he was trying to really create a brand centered around innovation, which can be hard to do in the sports word, thus it leads to them only being able to make visual changes.  On that same trip I got to meet Tom Brady and his lovely wife.

He Hate Me is the congealed, superdense, white-dwarf core of the XFL pop culture supernova.  Still emitting high-energy radiation for many millions of years, He Hate Me is the only offhand reference anyone still remembers or utilizes in conversation.  Now it has new life as an internet meme.

Cheers, sir!

Looking at the comments above, Maryland's uniforms have achieved their purpose -  they got people's attention.

There is no such thing as bad publicity.

The checkerboard side has grown on me, but the other side... not so much.  Maryland has a huge new set of unis. I actually like these:

I really like the flat black helmets.  Meanwhile, UMaryland blows a chance to go up big with a pick inside the 5 yd line.

They wore different helmets for warmups! so between warmups and the game they all had to switch helmets! The marketing people are now affecting the actual game/players preperation. This is ridiculous.

I rewound to the video from warmups. They had the white tortoise shell helmets and the uniforms were a more basic white design with red and yellow piping. Then they came out with the Maryland flag design on the jersey AND the helmet. I think they changed both after warmups!
