Here in lovely NE Ohio, the morning news/talk show on the local NBC affiliate has a contest for engaged couples where they give away an all-expenses paid wedding & reception that, according to my wife (who is close friends/works with the wife of the morning show anchor,) is worth over $60,000. They put it live on the morning show and let the viewers choose all the details of the wedding: dresses, music, food, etc... The finalists are narrowed down by the producers and former winners. The grand prize winner is determined solely by the will of the people...ie) internet voting.
So, why in the hell am I bringing this to the attention of the MGoBlog community? My first cousin is one of the final 4 couples. I wouldn't waste my valuable time typing this out if she wasn't a really cool deserving girl. She helped to raise her 3 hell-raising younger brothers and is now going to college full time while holding down 2 jobs to make ends meet. It doesn't hurt that her fiance' isn't a douchebag, either.
Here is the link to vote--unfortunately only 1 vote per computer (IP address). My cousin & her fiance' are couple #3--Tara and Ben. It only takes a minute to vote, so if you could, I, and my family, would appreciate it.

Note: The temptation to vote for the hottie with the big hair from couple #4 will be great. Please stay strong!

Boom, voted. Good luck to them... Man it was hard to not vote for that hotty at #4. She should be in Hairspray.
Touchdown Michigan!
