premature congrats. One thing we can be sure of: he'll take fewer asinine penalties than Abdelkader
Thanks to ugly transitions between Fulmer/Kiffin/Dooley/Davis, Tennessee is on the edge of APR penalties for football.

Has anyone ever heard of MGoPatio? I stumbled across this on Facebook today and it looks BADASS.
That's the dopest dope.
I found it to be raw...
Naw, that's rare...
For my privacy, my new username is "non-Oriental non-Andrew"
False, it has swag.

If you see someone in an airport with Michigan logos on luggage and they are wearing a pilot uniform come say hello.
I'm not positive, but I think this is the same patio John U Bacon has been mentioning in a few of his tweets/FB posts.
Where is this patio in relation to the campus?
well if you didnt notice you can see the stadium in the backgroud..
im not positive, but.... you can see the stadium in the picture.
Clearly I did not notice. Should have grabbed my glasses to view the pic
That's pretty slick. Might have convince the wife to do something like this when we do our patio area.

Berkley, second house on the right.
Looks awesome, MGoPatio owner!
I had to look at that pic for several seconds before I realized why it looked so familiar.
I was there last year for an all day birthday party on the day of the Minnesota game. It was a blast. Party, walk across the street to the stadium for the game and then come back to the party.
That block M patio wasn't there last fall, however. It must have gone up this past spring.
Go Blue! Always!
That birthday party was one of the first big events at the house...even before MGoPatio became a reality. It's much nicer now that the piles of dirt are gone and the upstairs space will be accessible. I hope to see you back sometime.
Wonder how much it is to rent for a game weekend. The FB page says you can get $500 off, so I suspect it ain't cheap.
3500 for the whole place on game day. Kinda steep for only a day event. Obviously geared toward a local crowd as booking rooms on top of that fee is pretty expensive. Especially for the amount of people it would take to justfy such a large space. Kickass idea though. Maybe a wedding event on game day?
Its called a royale with cheese
This is a great, great MGoScape. The photo gallery on the page is pretty cool as well if you're interested in watching the transition of this backyard on Berkley into the MGoPatio too. Liking the page even enters you in a contest to win some bench seats from previous incarnations of the stadium interior. Awesome work.

Holy shit. We're building a new house next year and this is happening. And I think I can actually get it past my wife because our last name happens to start with M.
Go for it, Dude!! I am so jealous, nothing in our names start with an M. (Well, except my mother-in-law but she wouldn’t buy that.) 8P
I'm lucky. My wife is a big sports fan too. Plus, when I told her we could help pay for the project by renting it out a few times a year, she got on board.
I live on Prescott... I'm on the lookout!
It's on Berkley (via Facebook)
I'm really happy to hear all the kind words about the new space. I can't wait for it to be done. We're in the finishing stages now with just a few weeks to go before football season is on us.
Here are a few things I'll mention (based on the comments above):
-- Yes, it's on Berkley Ave. Second house on the right. Directly across Main Street from where the old press box was situated.
-- Liking the FB page allows you to enter the "Big House Bench Seat Giveaway" but doesn't enter you as soon as you click LIKE (that's against FB rules). You can enter once per day. You should DEFINITELY use the share link to get your friends to enter. Your odds don't go down when more people enter...they actually go up becase you get 5 bonus entries every time a friend follows your SHARE link and enters, too.
- MGoPatio rental rates are based on the only comparable location anywhere near the stadium. The only other place is farther away and not as nice...and it's booked for the whole season already. Our rates are the same as theirs. The $500 discount is a nice savings on top (mainly to get interest rolling since the space wasn't ready to show earlier).
-- Glad to know WolverineHistorian has already partied on location. WH, you're right, the patio was finished after you were here for the 40th b-day party last year. It's even better now than it was!
If anyone has questions, please get in touch. If you're interested in building something similar, let me know. I realy enjoy talking about the details of the project. I can even put you in touch with some of the people I used.
Best regards and GO BLUE!
Thanks again for the good reviews of the project so far. If you're looking top do something similar, get in touch and I'll let you know who I used for parts of the build.
I was just told by the first booking group that I could mention their name so I'm going to start dropping it like a bomb. Sports Illustrated is the first client (post-patio installation) to reserve the space. I'm looking forward to seeing them for the in-state rivalry game and hoping that their question about the NHL Winter Classic lead to a return visit.
Now MGoPatio has gone national with an appearance on NPR's Marketplace Money and won the coveted Piggy Bank Award for smart and creative use of finances. Listen to the radio interview with Tess Vigeland on the Marketplace Money podcast (below).
