OT: MGoFirstCommunion photobomb

Submitted by ppToilet on

So, today was my son's first communion. I thought it was a big deal, but apparently so did Brian as he showed up too!

My MGoWife reads the blog and after the service she generously volunteered for the following photobombs. She's the one wearing the smile and I've redacted others from the images just because it made sense to do that. I also enhanced Brian a bit as the lighting was terrible.

Yes, Brian, we are creepy stalkers. You sit behind us at hockey games too. It is all I can do to keep my wife from screaming "muppets" when she sees you. I'm sorry and I'll leave you alone now and no restraining order will be necessary.

At first, I thought you had photoshopped Brian into your kid's 1st Communion photos, which would be really creepy. However, if he was actually there, I guess it's pretty funny.

Haha, I guess it is just tough for me to believe that Brian would show up looking like that to a church ceremony.

It is tough for me to believe that Brian would show up to a church ceremony...at all. I've always had this image in my mind of Brian as a devout Atheist-type. My worldview has taken a severe blow this morning.

On one hand, this is really weird.

On the other hand, this is at least kind of funny.

On still another hand, I wish I had a wife who would do this.

On yet another hand, if I had a wife who would do things like this, I would probably be in trouble.

So I am torn. It's creepy, but not the worst case of creepitis I have ever seen.

I'm not really sure what to think about this.  On one hand, I guess it's a humorous concept, and this is pretty much the perfect time to post something so off-kilter as this.  However, on the other hand, this makes me feel very uncomfortable.

He was already in the process of taking pictures (or at least that’s what I gather from his response to chris1709), Brian was in his church, he posted the pictures on Brian’s blog. I think, because this guy’s intention was to have a funny OP, and because of the above reasons, this isn’t THAT creepy. I thought it was pretty funny because he got his wife to do it.

Ok, to those saying "creepy", you're either college age and younger or just sad. This is funny, and a reality of people getting older, having kids and knowing people. Nice shots bro. I have a personal photo bomb of our fearless leader from a USA v Honduras soccer match in Chicago from 2009. Treasure it.

Clicked on this post expecting to see kids in Michigan gear eating Jesus. You can understand my disappointment.

and as awesome as the Shane Morris photos were I really hope this little hand signal does not become a normal part of Michigan athletics.

I hate those schools that have hand gestures.
