Not nearly so exciting as septuple bypass, but I did have a tumor removed from my eye at kellog eye centr today. Thanks for the well wishes! UM surgeons are the best.
and... i like them? I think I like them.
How the hell did a tumor get in your eye (half-kidding)?
Seriously, I hope it was malignant and you're feeling better. I'm glad it was caught. Did they get all of it? Can you see?
I hope it WASN'T malignant.
that... was... awful
"Did I forget which one 'malignant' is?"
-me after reading your comment
It's not a typo when there is a word that means the exact opposite.
Let's attribute it to having a brain fart.
I hope the surgery went well.
The typo was typing was as opposed to wasn't.
It could also be a brain fart. Negligible.
more excitement than I want, thank you very much. Glad it worked out, they do great work there.
That sounds worse than a bypass. Best wishes for a speedy recovery!
Step mother had
work done there by Dr Trobe, guy was amazing.
nice picture though. take the weekend off and stay hydrated with beer and pain meds. post us in the morning....
Hell, post during the beer and pain meds. Can't be any worse than my writing.
Sun damage, HPV, metastasis, genetically inherited, spontaneous new mutations (first 3 are most common).
Lubricate that eye!
As someone who had a very serious eye issue when I was five, I can attest to the quality of the Kellogg Eye Center. Twenty years later, and I still feel grateful that we have such a high class medical campus only thirty minutes away.
Eye stuff, yikes. Here's to a quick and full recovery!
I hope all is better than before!
I got LASIK at Kellogg. I figure a research institution is the best place for just about any surgery... It has been perfect from day one and no regrets.
joined again to wish you a full and quick recovery.
Did that last week. Sucked for the first couple days. So, sick of eye drops but LOVE being able to see without glasses. Money well spent. Best wishes
These threads make me I wish I posted about the colectomy I had last month... Just to see the comments. These are fun lol
Wishing you a full and healthy recovery by the way! I'm sure you're in good hands.
Sounds like a crappy surgery! Glad you're ok!
Hoping you'll have a positive outcome and speedy recovery!
All swolen like mad, but less painful today!
No, probably not malignant. Likely just a schwanoma.
I got a tumor in my eye by having neurofibromitosis type 2. Whoever said genetic disorder wins a cee-gar.
Blaze - don't you have hearing problems too? I thought I remembered you and I both dealing with that issue. If i've remembered correctly are the two issues linked?
Man dude - I'm glad it went well and I'll pray for a full and fast recovery.
NF2 sucks man. It always gets your hearing nerves. But it can get your eyes, brain, spine, etc. I've been so lucky and blessed so far.
Certainly looks painful man but glad to hear it went well! Go Blue!
And I'm looking forward to your song for the 2014 football season post, Blazefire.
