OT: MGoBlog sponsored by the M Den?
So after a long day, I log onto MGoBlog to partake in some of Brian's Pulitzer Prize* winning writing. As a begin to scroll down to read, I was shocked, nay appalled! to see a hideous strip of advertising screaming at my eyeballs the following six** awful words:
MGoBlog sponsored by THE M DEN
Could this signal the downfall of MGoBlog? Will this spark a bunch of M DEN themed posts from Brian about their great low prices on All In towels? Has this thoroughly destroyed the integrity of this website? And are those towels even worth five dollars? Shouldn't they be like, half that price?
Discuss.
*Not really, but if the Free Press can win a Pulitzer...
**Does M count as a word?

The MDen has removed Rosenberg's book from its shelves.
The MDen is awesome.

When do the e-posts about DirecTV start?

Why do you find something wrong with the sponsorship? Would you rather pay a monthly subscription (and with all the content and analysis we get, we probably should), or have a company do it for us? I'll take the latter.

Brian can do whatever he wants to support himself, the website and his future kids. Even better if the Mden is related. What, you guys wanted Caesars Pizza?

WHOOOOOOOOSH

We all buy from there anyways.. why not have a seal of approval from them. I don't believe Brian is selling out, it takes money to run this board. Money that Brian and all those directly involved deserve. I believe this will only bring good things in the future.

Presumably he's been having to shell out for vastly increased bandwidth as of late, so I have no problem with this.

before posting. And topics about mgoblog are not OT.

Now if we could only find more relevant sponsors than Evony & Weight Gain 2000 or whatever that ad is selling to make one ripped without any work.

As required by law, once I graduated from UM I left the state. But I don't like ordering my Michigan gear since I return at least once a year and load up then.
But it would be great for the site and us loyal patrons if MDen offered a printable online MGoBlog coupon -- say for 5 or 10% off.
Everbody wins.

There's a 15% off coupon for M-Den on page 3 of the newest issue of Michigan Alumnus magazine. Says to show the ad at any of the stores or enter promo code AAUM online through the end of September.

is this adblock backlash? if so, i'll disable it and resume clicking on PSA banners with awkwardly creepy father son relationships.
btw mden's website looks like it was designed on a napkin with crayons
